Fragadelphia is kicking off the new year with a bang, announcing its first Counter-Strike 2 LAN of 2026 will take place in Miami, Florida. The three-day event, dubbed Miami Frag 2, runs from January 2nd to 4th, 2026, and will feature 32 teams battling it out for a prize pool that could reach $10,000.
After a short break in December, Fragadelphia is wasting no time getting back into the action. The Miami LAN promises to bring palm trees, sunshine, and plenty of CS2 hype as teams from across North America and beyond compete for both cash and crucial Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points.

Prize Pool and Format
Miami Frag 2 will feature a scaling prize pool capped at $10,000, distributed as follows:
- 1st place – $5,500
- 2nd place – $2,500
- 3rd place – $1,300
- 4th place – $700
The tournament is open-entry, with spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teams will be seeded based on the December 2025 VRS rankings, making the event an important stepping stone for those looking to secure their place in future Counter-Strike Majors.
Ticket Information
Fragadelphia has confirmed that tickets for Miami Frag 2 go on sale on October 5th, right after the third map of the Blocktober Grand Finals. Registration is open to all teams, but with only 32 slots available, competition for places is expected to be fierce.
Tickets will be available directly through Fragadelphia’s official site, and organisers have stressed that sign-ups are strictly first-come, first-served. With the rapid sellouts seen at previous events like Blocktober, teams keen to compete will need to be ready to secure their spots the moment sales open.
A Busy Schedule for Fragadelphia
Miami Frag 2 follows hot on the heels of The Block 2 LAN later this year, which had to expand to 48 teams after selling out in under three minutes. The surge in interest shows just how important Fragadelphia events have become in the CS2 ecosystem.
This year’s Blocktober has already attracted top international names like Fnatic, ENCE, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, all eager to lock in VRS points ahead of November’s Budapest Major. While Miami Frag 2 could draw more international attention, much will depend on how the rankings look after Blocktober. If fewer global sides travel, the stage may be set for North American teams to cement their dominance.
Kicking Off 2026 in Style
With palm trees, high stakes, and the prestige of being the first Counter-Strike 2 LAN of 2026, Miami Frag 2 is shaping up to be a highlight of the competitive calendar. For fans, it’s another sign that Fragadelphia continues to grow its influence in the Counter-Strike scene, offering a vital proving ground for rising teams and seasoned veterans alike.
