The announcement comes after RAD parted ways with its European roster that won the Ignite Mid Season Finals earlier this year. That squad is now competing under the name Team1, still searching for a new organisation. With the spotlight now shifting to North America, RAD is looking to make waves in a fresh region with a completely rebuilt team.
The New RAD Esports Marvel Rivals Roster
Here are the players set to wear the RAD jersey:
- Zechariah “Guru” Koppes – Vanguard
- GilbertNoodle – Vanguard
- Unovvn – Vanguard (Substitute)
- Gale Adelade – Duellist
- bedtimestory (storytimebed) – Duellist
- AlwaysRocket (imrocketotp) – Duellist (Substitute)
- forkydog – Strategist
- Brent “Pizzademon” Lanoix – Strategist
Several names will be familiar to fans of the competitive scene. Guru, Pizzademon, Gale, and bedtimestory all previously competed under Solaris, a team that topped the Ignite Stage 2 Americas Open Qualifiers Split 2. Bringing in that level of experience should give RAD a strong foundation as they enter the Americas competition.
Moving From Europe to the Americas
RAD Esports’ shift is more than just about signing new talent. Previously, the organisation fielded an EMEA roster, battling against the likes of Citadel Gaming (formerly Brr Brr Patapim) and Virtus.pro. That journey ended after the Ignite Mid Season Finals in Guangzhou, China, when the squad’s contracts expired.
Now, the focus is firmly on the Americas region. By picking up former Solaris players, RAD has already secured their qualification spot for Ignite Stage 2, ensuring fans won’t have to wait long to see the new team in action.
What’s Next for RAD Esports?
With their new Marvel Rivals roster, RAD will be tested against some of the toughest teams in the Americas, including big names like ENVY, 100 Thieves, and Sentinels, the Stage 1 Americas champions.
For fans, this marks an exciting new chapter. The mix of experienced talent and fresh faces makes RAD Esports a team to watch as the Marvel Rivals competitive scene heats up heading into the Season 3 Championship.
