Halo: Campaign Evolved Armor Codes: Damascus Prototype, Sandstone Ancient Live Now

Halo Studios is celebrating the global launch of Halo: Campaign Evolved with a batch of free Mark V armor unlocks, redeemable through codes on the official Halo Waypoint site. The developer confirmed the giveaway in a post on Halo Waypoint’s official news page, timed to the game’s release on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Steam.
Two of the styles require no purchase, quest or challenge beyond entering a code, while a third is tied to a limited-time Discord Quest and a fourth comes courtesy of a Coca-Cola crossover promotion that is already close to expiring.
Damascus Prototype and Sandstone Ancient: the two universal codes
The headline freebie is the Damascus Prototype Armor Style, which Halo Waypoint describes by inviting players to embrace your inner “X factor” with the Damascus Prototype Armor Style, available to all Halo: Campaign Evolved players. It can be claimed with the code GWT9-DNBT-7X9S-DJCX-8KH3, as listed on the Halo Waypoint redemption page and independently confirmed by outlets including Beebom and Australian deals community OzBargain.
Gaming outlet Geeks + Gamers, which tested the redemption flow, noted the style appears to be just the 25th Anniversary armor with a different name, suggesting Halo Studios reused the visual asset for this launch giveaway rather than commissioning an entirely new design.
The second universal unlock is the Sandstone Ancient Armor Style, redeemable with the code L563-J46G-PZN1-SBF2-AXN6. Both codes are entered through the same channel: head over to the official Halo Waypoint website and sign in using your Microsoft/Xbox account, accept the terms and conditions, then you will be redirected to Campaign Evolved’s Drops & Code Redemption section.
Players who hit snags with manual entry aren’t alone. According to a guide from AllThingsHow, manual entry has been unreliable for some players redeeming the Sandstone Ancient code, so using the direct redemption link tied to it is the more consistent route.
Silver Anniversary armor drops automatically, no code needed
Not every cosmetic requires a code. Halo Waypoint confirmed players can celebrate 25 years of Halo with the Silver Anniversary Armor and Assault Rifle Styles, a free unlock for all Halo: Campaign Evolved players, found in the Customization menu the first time you play. It’s the simplest of the launch cosmetics, applying itself the moment a player boots the game for the first time.
Hidden Blade armor requires a Discord Quest before August 3
The Hidden Blade Armor Style is the one time-gated reward tied to a third-party platform rather than a static code. Per Halo Waypoint, it is available exclusively as a Discord Quest reward now through August 3, 2026, and is claimed by logging into Discord, heading to the Quests page, and watching the Halo: Campaign Evolved game trailer from the Halo Quest to receive a personalized unlock code to redeem on Halo Waypoint.
Because the code generated through Discord is personalised to each account, it cannot be shared or reused the way the Damascus Prototype and Sandstone Ancient codes can.
Fanta Spartan Armor: a Coca-Cola tie-in ending this month
A fourth cosmetic, sometimes labelled the Fanta Spartan Armor or Fantastic Spartan Armor, comes from a promotional partnership with Coca-Cola and follows a different claim path entirely. Geeks + Gamers reported that to unlock it, players must scan the QR code at this link on your phone and play the puzzle game that appears, then select the “Extract the Cargo” challenge from a list of options that appears and play a new puzzle, before finally redeeming a code generated by the mini-game on Halo Waypoint.
The clock is ticking on this one. OzBargain’s community listing notes the Fanta promotion expires 1/8, while Geeks + Gamers separately warned the tie-in is a limited-time offer, and the end date is “late July,” meaning players who want the skin need to act within days rather than weeks. The Hidden Blade Discord reward is running on a similar clock, with OzBargain listing it as possibly region-locked, expires 3/8.

What it means for players checking Halo Waypoint post-launch
None of the four cosmetics affect gameplay, but for a franchise built on decades of collectible armor customisation, launch-week freebies like these tend to become the most-farmed content in the days after release. With Halo: Campaign Evolved now live worldwide, including in New Zealand and Australian storefronts on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, local players redeeming codes through Halo Waypoint should note the Microsoft account used for redemption must match the one linked to their platform profile, a requirement several guides flagged as the most common cause of failed claims.
Given the Discord Quest and Fanta promotions both carry hard expiry dates in the next week, players hoping to collect the full launch set of Mark V styles have a narrow window before at least two of the four cosmetics disappear from circulation.
