Ravensburger, publisher of award-winning board games and high-quality toys and puzzles, has announced that Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG), the collectible trading card game, is now available in limited quantities.

Booster packs and starter decks of the next three sets will be released in the coming weeks; Rise of the Floodborn (June 15th), Into the Inklands (June 29th), and Ursula’s Return (July 13th). The full range of Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game products will be available from August 9th, 2024 with the debut of the TCG’s fifth set.

The Disney Lorcana TCG is a brand-new trading card game (TCG) set in the wondrous realm of Lorcana, where players take on the role of Illumineers and wield magic ink to summon a team of Disney characters known as glimmers, who appear in both familiar and fantastical ways. Disney Lorcana TCG was designed to be easy to learn and welcoming for TCG newcomers while still offering strategic depth for experienced players. The game also features more than 200 original pieces of Disney art that collectors and Disney fans will adore.

In Disney Lorcana TCG, players embark on a search for lost lore with their teams of glimmers. They’ll play characters, actions, and items from their hand and choose whether to “quest” for lore with their glimmers or challenge their opponents. The first player to collect 20 lore wins.

The first four sets of Disney Lorcana TCG are available in limited quantities and a variety of ways:

Nacelle, the studio behind Netflix’s The Toys That Made Us, The Movies That Made Us, Kevin Hart’s Guide to Black History, Mad About You (2019), and Behind The Attraction on Disney+, has struck a deal with Brentwood Television Funnies, to acquire Biker Mice from Mars, with plans to re-introduce the toy line in 2023.

In 2022, Nacelle began reviving many beloved vintage toy lines such as Robo Force, Sectaurs, The Great Garloo, and Power Lords, with new action figures that honor the rich history of their predecessors.

On the planet Mars, there existed a race of anthropomorphic mice who enjoyed motorsports and had a very similar culture and society to that of human beings.

Eventually, they were all but wiped out by the Plutarkians, an alien race of obese, foul-smelling, worm eating, fish-like humanoids who plunder other planets for their natural resources. Three survivors: Throttle, Modo and Vinnie, manage to find a spaceship and escape the Plutarkian takeover, but instead, they soon find themselves crash-landing on Earth in the city of Chicago.

Along with a charming female mechanic named Charlene “Charley” Davidson, the Biker Mice must defend Earth and defeat the villainous Plutarkians, in an attempt to finally return to their homeland of Mars.

After spending the last year acquiring nostalgic IPs like The Great Garloo, Power Lords, Big Loo and the legendary Marx Toys brand, Nacelle is kicking off their first wave of Robo Force action figures with highly detailed and fully articulated versions of Maxx Steele and Wrecker.

In 2021, Nacelle Company announced its acquisition of the beloved 80s franchise, Robo Force, with plans to reintroduce the characters through a television series, books and other lifestyle products. Titanic Creations, the leading new collectibles brand, announces the Colossal Creatures “Soul Wars” series of articulated monster figures based on original designs inspired by kaiju culture, deadly prehistoric creatures, pulp horror fiction, and the supernatural.

The “Soul Wars” product line consists of 4 poseable creatures, TITANICUS, NOSFERADON, SKUREAUS, and GRIFFIXIS.

Skureaus is the ultimate weapon of ancient Egypt.

A monster that was designed to be controlled and used to wield God-like power. It was buried for thousands of years but was dug up by Nazi archeologists hoping to master its power. Skureaus is controlled by a yellow amulet that is currently in the possession of Nazi General Erwin Rommel. With this super weapon the Nazi’s have taken over all of Egypt and are invading the rest of North Africa at an alarming pace.

The only hope the Allies have against this creature and its evil master is another ancient power that has laid dormant at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, Skureaus, soon to reawaken.

Griffixis is a beast from outer space.

The Griffixis pathogen originally lands on a planet and infects two members of the native population, turning them back into children.

The monster then begins to take on traits of assorted animals on the planet until it becomes the ultimate alpha predator. The first planet to encounter the beast was the home of another monster, Nosferadon. That planet fell in short order after Griffixis arrived. Where the pathogen was created remains unknown and at this time, there is no known way to slow or stop its rapid evolution.

An ancient monster that was first spotted in 1912, when he attacked and sank the RMS Titanic.

The monster’s appearance triggered the creation of Project Serenity, which was tasked with keeping the secret about the true horrors that lie in the ocean from the public. Titanicus’ origin is a mystery with many scientists believing that the monster was an ancient super weapon created by Atlanteans.

In addition to the attack on the Titanic, Titanicus has been known to sink merchant ships and has been rumored to live near the Bermuda Triangle.

Nosferadon was designed by aliens to stop the Griffixis creature, but unfortunately there was not enough time.

As the monster was laying waste to the planet, the creators shot Nosferadon’s egg into space hoping that one day it could save another planet from the cruel fate that had fallen their home world. Eventually, the egg landed on Earth and was discovered by a young Jewish boy in 1930’s Germany named Wolf.

After Nosferadon hatched, he created a bond with Wolf, and after Wolf’s parents were taken away by the Nazis, the pair set out trying to find them while also knowing that one day the Griffixis pathogen would come to Earth and Nosferadon would have to live up to his destiny to stop it.

Pre-orders are open now for SKUREAUS – a harrowing Scorpion-Cobra hybrid combining two of the desert’s deadliest creatures.

Pre-orders will open in early January for GRIFFIXIS, a hellish, razor-toothed, flying maneater.

SKUREAUS and GRIFFIXIS are scheduled to ship in early 2022.

So many toy stores, so many viewers.

The Nacelle Company, which brought us Netflix’s The Movies That Made Us and The Toys That Made Us, is making more toy stories.

The studio has given the green light to A Toy Store Near You Season 4, which will continue its run on Amazon Prime Video.

Directed by Nacelle Company CEO BrianVolk-Weiss, the series attracted an overwhelming surge of viewership through unexpected times. A Toy Store Near You focuses on the toy collector community, a small and tight knit group, which is apparently growing, partially because of the series.

“People are literally writing to us daily, some even telling us how they’ve quit their jobs and opened their own vintage toy stores inspired by our series. It seemed almost criminal not to make more,” Volk-Weiss said in a statement.

The series premiered during the early onset of Covid-19, and the focus was on store owners fighting to stay afloat in the middle of the pandemic. Each of the shops’ unique history was laid out, and the show’s prime directive was to help independently owned vintage toy stores. Most of the proceeds from the show went back to the stores which were featured. Season 2 highlighted vintage toys.

A Toy Store Near You season 3 was able to showcase a success story as the resiliency of the small business owners kept the vintage toy community running. The show not only highlighted toys and stores, but some of the independent artists who now contribute very specialized toy manufacturing.

Content for A Toy Store Near You comes from more than 20,000 hours of accumulated footage shot across seven countries and 50 stores worldwide. The first three seasons featured episodes from such renowned stores as Billy Galaxy Toys and Collectibles in Portland, Oregon, Super7 in San Francisco, California, Spiral Toys in Shibuya City, Japan, and Leicester Vintage and Old Toy Shop in Leicester, England.

Volk-Weiss also directed Behind the Attraction, Down to Earth with Zac Efron, and CW’s Discontinued,. His Nacelle Company also produced Kevin Hart’s Guide to Black History and Sony’s Mad About You. He doesn’t only make films about toy collectors, he’s got a wide collection himself.

There is no A Toy Store Near You Season 4 release date set yet, and no word on which stores will be featured.

Fans of prestigious electric vehicles and cool tiny little cars will be excited about this rather interesting mash-up. Hot Wheel and Tesla have partnered to launch a 1:10 scale Tesla Cybertruck.

The Tesla Cybertruck set is a pretty amazing Hot Wheels collaboration with Tesla.It contains not only a remote-controlled model of the all-electric Cybertruck but also a replica of the Tesla CyberQuad electric all-terrain quad bike.

Just three months after Tesla unveiled its full-sized all-electric Cybertruck – which looks like something straight out of Blade Runner, Mattel introduced the first-ever Hot Wheels remote-controlled version in the US. The model sold out within hours. Following its global success, the Tesla Cybertruck is now available down under in a scaled downsize of its real-life counterpart.

The Hot Wheels Cybertruck is built much like the actual Tesla version, boasting better utility than a truck and more performance than a sports car. This futuristic RC pick-up truck features speeds up to 10-11mph, authentic rims, and tyre treads.

The Nacelle Company, the people behind Disney+’s Behind The Attraction, Netflix’s The Movies That Made Us, The Toys That Made Us and Down To Earth with Zac Efron have announced that they’ve partnered with Silverhawks LLC to resurrect the iconic animated television show, SilverHawks.

SilverHawks is an animated television show developed by Rankin / Bass Productions and released in 1986.

The show consisted of 65 episodes, with a concept revolved around a team of 29th century heroes with metal bodies and wings who were tasked to stop an organized crime ring and protect the citizens of the Galaxy of Limbo, which has been overrun by the show’s antagonist, Mon*Star, who runs a mob with some interesting characters, including a shapeshifter, a robotic card shark and a man with blades for arms.

The team at Rankin / Bass surely intended to turn this high concept idea into a space themed extension of their already successful line, ThunderCats, but unfortunately the show did not enjoy the same success as its predecessor.

Nacelle’s announcement comes on the heels of Super7, a pop-culture design house and toymaker famous for their ReAction figures, announcing the release of their SilverHawks ULTIMATES line of action figures earlier this year.

In January of 2021, the San Francisco based toy maker announced they’ve acquired the SilverHawks IP and will begin production on some of the figures that SilverHawks fans and collectors have always dreamt of.

“SilverHawks is a beloved franchise that has been overlooked for far too long. We are super excited to be working with Nacelle to bring SilverHawks back into the limelight for the die-hard fans as well as a new generation of fans to experience the magic of SilverHawks for the first time,” said Brian Flynn, Founder and Owner of Super7.

Bandai Namco Entertainment is releasing Digimon X.

After pent up fan-demand, consumers can finally get their hands on the newest digivice. This is more than just a virtual pet, it’s the next evolution in gameplay.

Based on the Original Digivice that started it all, the Digimon X is equipped with tons of new features and evolutions that come in a variety of different colours.

Users can now hatch, raise, feed, and train their digital monster for the ultimate monster match, a showdown between one Digimon and another.

These devices connect to each other (and previous versions) to allow users to compete with whoever challenges. The Digimon X has a variety of new features like the Random Attack Generator, New Quest mode, Digimon facial expressions and so much more.
