We are delighted to announce @Tekkz as the newest addition to RBLZ Gaming. ✍️

The 24-year-old has signed for the FC26 season, representing our colors on the international stage 🌍 – while also stepping up in content creation 🤳

Welcome to Leipzig, Tekkz! 🔴⚪️#rblzgaming pic.twitter.com/S7iWYYdXma

— RBLZ GAMING (@rblzgaming) September 5, 2025

The 24-year-old English pro has swapped Manchester City’s blue for RB Leipzig’s red and white, bringing with him a trophy cabinet that rivals just about anyone in competitive EA FC.

A Fresh Start in Leipzig

Tekkz has been at the top of the virtual football world since 2018, when he exploded onto the scene with The F2 and later picked up titles with Liverpool and Fnatic. He went on to lift the FIFA eClub World Cup in 2019, add multiple FUT Champions Cups to his name, and secure back-to-back ePremier League titles with Manchester City.

Now, after officially parting ways with City last week, he’s found a new home at RBLZ Gaming. You can catch the details of his departure in our coverage here.

RBLZ announced the signing on social media, welcoming Tekkz to Leipzig for the 2025/26 campaign. The deal runs until 2026, meaning fans will be seeing him represent the Red Bulls for at least the next two seasons.

More Than Just Trophies

It’s not only his on-pitch skills that make this a big pick-up. Tekkz is also a powerhouse when it comes to content creation. He’s closing in on a million YouTube subscribers, with hundreds of thousands more following him across X and Instagram.

In his announcement comments, he made it clear that Leipzig’s vision for both competition and content played a huge role in his decision to sign. “Leipzig laid out a clear plan for me and it really excited me. At this point in my career, it’s the best possible step forward,” he said.

He also hinted at being more present for his community, with plans to return to streaming and ramp up video content. For fans, that means more chances to see him outside of high-pressure tournament games.

Eyes on the FC Pro World Championship

Despite the content push, Tekkz’s competitive fire hasn’t cooled. He finished in the top 8 at the recent FC Pro World Championship but fell just short of the ultimate prize. His new goal with RBLZ Gaming is simple: to finally lift that title.

“I know I can play much better. I need to close games more consistently when I’m leading,” he admitted. “That will make the difference between the top 8 and winning the tournament.”

With RBLZ already boasting talents like Levy “levyfinn” Rieck and Guilherme “GuiBarros” Barros, who famously knocked Tekkz out of Worlds this year, Leipzig are stacking their roster for a serious run at 2026 glory.

The Bottom Line

RBLZ Gaming signing ePremier League champion Tekkz is one of the biggest moves of the off-season. It gives the Red Bulls a proven winner who’s hungry for more, while also boosting their reach through his massive fanbase.

For Tekkz, it’s a reset and a chance to push past his recent near-misses. And for fans, it’s another reason to keep an eye on Leipzig as the FC26 season kicks off.

The 24-year-old joined City in 2023 and wasted no time making history. Teaming up with Matias Bonanno, he became the first player to win back-to-back ePremier League titles, helping Manchester City become the first club to lift the trophy three times.

EPREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPION! 3 TIMES! pic.twitter.com/VcRFojFl3s

A Legacy of Success

Tekkz’s time with City wasn’t just about trophies. In his first season, he joined the club’s pre-season tour of the United States, where he worked with City in the Community programmes, visited Soccer Schools, and met young fans. He also appeared in plenty of content for Man City Esports’ social media channels, taking on creators, fans, and even City players in EA FC matches.

That preparation paid off. In 2024 and again in 2025, Tekkz and Bonanno beat Brighton & Hove Albion in the Grand Final to secure back-to-back ePremier League titles. It was a run that cemented Man City Esports as one of the top teams in EA FC competition, and confirmed Tekkz as one of the greatest players to ever touch the game.

He also represented the club at the Man City Abu Dhabi Cup, where fans got the chance to meet the two-time champion and pose with the trophy.

What’s Next for Tekkz?

With his contract now complete, Tekkz leaves Man City Esports with a record that few can match. Beyond his achievements in Manchester, he has a long list of accolades including the FIFA eClub World Cup title in 2019, making him one of the most decorated EA FC pros in the world.

His next move hasn’t yet been revealed, but with EA Sports FC 26 on the horizon and changes coming to the esports ecosystem, fans are eager to see where he lands before the new season begins.

Man City Esports released a statement thanking him for his contributions, noting that he created a lasting legacy both at the club and in the wider esports community.

Tekkz’s departure also follows Spanish player Ander ‘Neat’ Tobal leaving the roster earlier this week, signalling a period of change for the organisation heading into the 2025/26 season.

Whatever comes next, one thing is clear: Tekkz has left his mark on Man City Esports and the ePremier League, and fans will be watching closely to see where his journey continues.
