South Korean esports giant T1 is officially back in Fortnite, announcing its new roster for the 2026 competitive season. After more than a year away from the battle royale scene, T1 has signed Polish duo Demus and Darm, marking the organisation’s return ahead of the upcoming Fortnite Championship Series season.

The announcement was shared through T1’s official social channels, confirming the team’s intent to re establish itself among Fortnite’s top competitors in 2026.

T1 Fortnite Roster For FNCS 2026 Confirmed

Demus and Darm join T1 after competing together throughout the 2025 season, building strong chemistry as a consistent duo. The pair have already shown strong form early in the year, winning Mistrzostwa Polski #2 while playing under the BIG banner.

They have also recorded a fourth place finish in week seven of the Chapter 7 Season 1 Duos Victory Cup, signalling that they are ready to compete at the highest level heading into FNCS 2026.

For T1, the signing represents a strategic move to bring proven European talent into its Fortnite programme, rather than rebuilding from scratch.

A Long Awaited Return To Fortnite

This roster marks T1’s first step back into Fortnite esports since October 2024. The organisation previously exited the scene after parting ways with Japanese trio Michael, ZAZI, and Vall.

After one and a half years away, T1’s return signals renewed confidence in Fortnite’s competitive ecosystem, especially as FNCS continues to evolve with LAN events and global finals.

Fortnite Esports Season 2026 Explained

The Fortnite esports calendar for 2026 begins on January 31 with the FNCS Trial, a crucial opening event that determines player divisions based on performance. From there, competitors will move into Divisional Cups held throughout Chapter 7.

The first FNCS Major of the year runs from April 6 to April 26, with regional tournaments deciding who advances to the Major Finals. Top performers at the Major Finals will secure spots at the FNCS Major 1 Summit, the first LAN event of the season.

Only the top five duos from the Major 1 Summit will qualify for the season ending Fortnite Global Championship, raising the stakes for teams like T1 from the very start of the year.

T1’s Growing Focus On Battle Royale Esports

T1’s Fortnite return is part of a broader expansion into battle royale titles. In December 2025, the organisation revealed its Call of Duty: Warzone roster, led by World Series of Warzone champion Echo.

With Fortnite and Warzone both in its competitive lineup, T1 is clearly positioning itself as a major force across multiple battle royale ecosystems.

The organisation now joins others ramping up for FNCS 2026, including Gen.G, which unveiled its own Fortnite roster earlier this month.

With Demus and Darm already delivering results and FNCS just around the corner, T1’s return to Fortnite is shaping up to be one of the more interesting storylines of the 2026 season.
