<p>Motorola are most definitely back in the mobile phone race.</p>
<p>Their moto edge duo of models offer up a lot of tech goodness at a way lower price point than Samsung and OPPO combined for a mid-range Android.</p>
<p>The more budget friendly moto edge 50 fusion has a dual camera array at the rear, with the first primary lens coming in at 50MP.</p>
<p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62557" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070424-1.jpg?x59294" alt="motorola edge 50 fusion" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070424-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070424-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070424-1-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>This is joined by a 13MP wide. Your front pinhole camera doesn’t fail to disappoint either at 32MP.</p>
<p>There’s a huge menu of camera options and unlike the lower Motorola models, the night shots on the<em> moto edge</em> <em>50 fusion</em> are near perfect.</p>
<p>Video records at 4K 1080p with either front or back camera&#8217;s making this a content creators ideal smartphone.</p>
<p>Under the hood the specs are better than expected too.</p>
<p>Crunching the data we have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 with storage at 256GB (model reviewed) and 8GB RAM (as well as RAM Boost).</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62554" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Screenshot_20240821_070545_Gallery-1.jpg?x59294" alt="motorola edge 50 fusion" width="1280" height="1468" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Screenshot_20240821_070545_Gallery-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Screenshot_20240821_070545_Gallery-1-262x300.jpg 262w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Screenshot_20240821_070545_Gallery-1-1116x1280.jpg 1116w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Screenshot_20240821_070545_Gallery-1-768x881.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>The <em>moto edge 50 fusion</em> has a pOLED 6.7 inch screen with a 120Hz refresh.</p>
<p>There’s an almost zero bezel top and bottom and as the device’s name suggests, the phone has screen edging. I’ve always loved this on prior top model handsets a few years ago, and here we have it on a middle of the road smart device.</p>
<div id="attachment_62561" style="width: 1290px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-62561" class="size-full wp-image-62561" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/moto-edge-50-fusion-Night-shot.jpg?x59294" alt="moto edge 50 fusion - Night shot" width="1280" height="1707" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/moto-edge-50-fusion-Night-shot.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/moto-edge-50-fusion-Night-shot-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/moto-edge-50-fusion-Night-shot-960x1280.jpg 960w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/moto-edge-50-fusion-Night-shot-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/moto-edge-50-fusion-Night-shot-1152x1536.jpg 1152w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /><p id="caption-attachment-62561" class="wp-caption-text">moto edge 50 fusion &#8211; Night shot</p></div>
<p>If you’re not wanting to pay thousands for a more than capable smartphone that has mobile gaming capabilities, the <em>moto edge 50 fusion</em> is where it’s at.</p>
<p>From your basic casual games, emulators and even console quality titles, the moto edge 50 fusion can handle the lot.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62558" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070432-1.jpg?x59294" alt="motorola edge 50 fusion" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070432-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070432-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240821_070432-1-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>To get you through the <em>moto edge 50 fusion</em> is powered by a generous 5,000 mAh battery.</p>
<p>Using the <em>moto edge 50 fusion</em> as my daily for a week it has only needed one full charge up in 7 days. I’m not a light mobile user and this also included game time.</p>
<p>While quick charge is great if you’re caught short (around 50% in 10 – 15 minutes), the moto edge 50 fusion does not have wireless charging.</p>
<p>The <em>moto edge 50 fusion</em> is an extremely nice looking smartphone, it has some of the features that other brands’ top shelf handsets have yet manages to pack all of that in to a price tag well under any of its competitors.</p>
