Ubisoft just announced that the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be coming to mobile devices, including Android and iOS, this April.

This action-adventure platformer, inspired by the Metroidvania genre, has been fully adapted to mobile by Ubisoft Da Nang studio, integrating all features to provide a thrilling experience on the go, no internet connection required.

High-quality graphics and gameplay fluidity are ensured, with a 60 FPS rate on most recent generations of mobile devices. Fully adapted for mobile and tablets, players will be able to experience Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Mobile either with an external controller or using the touch screen.

Thanks to the full control remapping option and touch control customization, players can change the size, position and transparency of various control inputs. This mobile version also introduces new distinct features such as auto-potion, auto-parry, slow time options, and many other quality of life features specific to mobile, bringing a more accessible experience to all players.

All quality-of-life and accessibility features present in the original game and awarded in the “Innovation In Accessibility” category of the Game Awards 2024, are available in this version. This encompasses the Eye of the Wanderer, which allows players to take screenshots and pin them to the map as visual reminders. The game also includes all the optional accessibility features, such as adaptable difficulty for enemy encounters, and platform assist.

In this mobile adventure, players will embody Sargon, a young, gifted Persian fighter from the legendary elite group known as The Immortals. Set in the mythological world of Mount Qaf, players will embark on a journey to rescue the kidnapped Prince Ghassan and restore balance to a once wondrous, now cursed land.

Players will unleash their inner warrior by utilizing Time Powers, combat, and platforming skills to perform stylish combos and defeat a variety of time-corrupted enemies and mythological creatures in Souls-like combat. They will explore a cursed Persian-inspired world filled with larger-than-life landmarks and highly detailed interconnected biomes, each with its own identity, wonder, and danger. The game offers an epic adventure where players immerse themselves in Sargon’s story, solve puzzles, find hidden treasures, and complete quests to uncover the mysteries of Mount Qaf.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be available on mobile devices on April 14, 2025.

Ubisoft has just announced that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is now available on Steam.

The game is already available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, as well as PC through the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.

The new story DLC “Mask of Darkness” will release on September 17th, 2024 alongside the Complete Edition that includes: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown base game, the Immortals outfit, the Prosperity bird amulet, the Warrior Within outfit, the digital adventure guide, the DLC, and two new outfits for Sargon inspired by Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown – Mask of Darkness will add a thrilling and darker new chapter of Sargon’s story. Players will get to explore a brand-new interconnected world made of exclusive biomes in this original adventure on Mount Qaf.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, is currently available and on September 17th, 2024, the upcoming Complete Edition will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One as well as Windows PC through the Epic Games Store, the Ubisoft Store, and now Steam.

A Complete Upgrade Pack will be available for veteran players and game owners looking to get the DLC, four outfits for Sargon, one amulet and the digital adventure guide. The Prince started it all.

Parkouring, swinging, wall climbing and running with challenging melee combat.

The Rogue Prince of Persia is a 2D near-to cell shaded platformer that has released hot off the heels from The Lost Crown.

Infact the two releases are so close together, that initially I thought The Rogue Prince of Persia was a mini-game or side game to the latter.

It’s not.

A full adventure within it’s own right, it takes us back to the roots of Prince of Persia where you take on the role of ‘The Prince’ in the city of Clesiphon, which is systematically being destroyed by a warlord known as the Hun.

The Hun sends out legions of possessed soldiers to take down the Prince and you must traverse through the multi-tiered procedurally generated levels saving the city and bringing down the wrath of the Hun.

Think you know and area, think again. Next time you’re there it will be slightly different.

The Prince will use a range of weapons, both melee and ranged, but picking up. a better or different weapon, whether bought or found in a chest, sees you losing the one you just had. Collecting or earning Medallions is a sure way of enhancing your weapons.

The Prince’s skills can also be levelled up as well.

Enemies will drop coins when they are killed. These can be cashed in for health augmentations and newer weapons.

The Prince is also in possession of a magical artefact. This enables him to time travel, something that you will definitely do when either you die or within gameplay.

Dying sees time pass and you will wake up in an area called the Oasis. This is a safe place and also an area where you can restock up on potions and other in-game items before you tackle the adventure once again.

The Rogue Prince of Persia has a Memory Board built-in to gameplay. This tracks your interactions with NPCs. Many of whom will provide narratively important information to get you through.

While the game looks like a watered down Prince of Persia experience, it’s far from it. The Rogue Prince of Persia is a challenging side scroller, that will test the skills of even the more seasoned Prince of Persia gamers.

Brightly coloured and an adventure platformer not to be missed I fully recommend spending some time saving the city of Clesiphon, whether you’ve played a Prince of Persia game before or not.

Ubisoft and Evil Empire announced that The Rogue Prince of Persia, a 2D action-platforming rogue-lite game, is available worldwide in Early Access on Steam.

The game is also available to play on GeForce Now service.

At the start, The Rogue Prince of Persia Early Access will include 6 biomes, 8 main weapons and 6 powerful tools, two boss encounters, as well as 30 trinkets for endless combinations to suit all playstyles.

Leading up to its full 1.0 launch, players can expect more content to arrive: new levels, bosses, weapons, enemies, and upgrades, as well as additions based on community feedback.

“I am extremely excited to show The Rogue Prince of Persia to the players, and I’m really looking forward to the game becoming not just ours, but a project between us and the community!” says Lucie Dewagnier, Game Director at Evil Empire.

In The Rogue Prince of Persia, players will be transported to a mythical version of Ctesiphon, once the thriving heart of the Persian Empire. Journeying through vibrant biomes, the Prince must deploy his full range of acrobatic talents to navigate safely across the procedurally generated levels, acquire and refine an arsenal of weapons, equip new trinkets, unlock new equipment at the Oasis, and gather allies to stand a chance in saving the city. To master the game’s platforming challenges, players will get to use the signature wall run, for seamless traversal over gaps, avoiding traps and outmaneuvering enemies. But the environment will not be the only peril players will have to face, as they will engage in combat with a variety of foes: the Huns, armed with dark shamanic magic, and the beasts tainted by this nefarious power.

The game’s soundtrack also plays a major role to immerse players into a modern and epic vision of Persian folklore with an original soundtrack produced and composed by ASADI, a Persian-American Electronic Music Producer and Performance Artist. The Rogue Prince of Persia’s Original Soundtrack is a fusion between traditional and modern sonorities, with rhythms supporting the moves and flow of the Prince.

The OST will be available on May 31  on Ubisoft Music, and all streaming platforms.

Infused with powers, each has their own ability, but no this is not a character swappable game, you are the Prince of Persia throughout.

Your team is needed to save the lands from an invading army of evil and save the Kingdom. Once done Sargon earns a Prince’s sash that elevates his status, but times are not calm for long as there is a betrayal among the Immortals and one of the Royal family members is kidnapped.

Your adventure starts now.

For fans of the series that bought us the first ever ability to wall run, the traditional Prince of Persia elements remain.

You will take on foes in melee combat with powered abilities that increase within their might as you progress, as well as acquiring differing melee weaponry.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will take you through many wondrous and beautifully created worlds. Places where time is warped, where you need to leap to great heights to get through.

From time to time you will come across seemingly inaccessible areas. But worry not, make use o your map, place markers and snapshots to remind you of these areas and once you have the required skill, power or weapon you can return.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a fresh take on the franchise and going from a 3D third person to 2D side scroll could have been disastrous for the series – but it’s not. Not at all.

It’s a unique taste while retaining the flavour of Prince of Persia. A whole lotta fun to play, a worthy lengthy adventure and a decent amount of replayability too.

During the Summer Game Fest live showcase, Ubisoft announced Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, an action-adventure platformer game set in a mythological Persian world.

In this brand-new adventure, players will embody Sargon, a young, gifted warrior and member of an elite group called The Immortals.

As they are sent to rescue Prince Ghassan, they will explore Mount Qaf, a once wondrous place, now cursed and hostile. Sargon and his brothers-in-arms will soon discover that time itself will be a treacherous foe and that world balance must be restored.

Inspired by the Metroidvania structure, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown lets players explore a handcrafted world at their own pace. From the majestic Citadel of Knowledge to the colourful landscapes of the Hyrcanian Forest, players will discover a variety of environments inspired by Persian mythology. By acquiring new time powers, unlocking unique abilities, and combining them in combat, Sargon will progressively delve deeper in Mount Qaf, solving puzzles, finding secrets, and completing exciting side quests.

In this epic journey, Sargon will fight his way through mythical enemies, larger-than-life bosses, and vicious traps. By combining combat and platforming skills, players will defeat time-corrupted creatures such as Jahandar, the dreadful Manticore, guardian of the Citadel. Players will be able to express their creativity in a deep and engaging combat system to trigger devastating combos.

While exploring this mythical place, players will be fully immersed thanks to the original soundtrack created by Mentrix. Today at Ubisoft’s digital press conference, Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced the return of the Prince in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, the company’s first full-scale remake.

Originally released in 2003, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time redefined action-adventure gaming with its innovative gameplay, compelling story and lovable characters. Rewinding time once again, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been developed from the ground up with the Anvil game engine.

Developed by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is Ubisoft’s first ever full-scale remake, with a fresh approach to combat, puzzle solving and rewinding time. The new design, made with updated technology for today’s gaming systems, include new camera angles and fully remade sequences. Additionally, players will get to see a beautiful and fully reimagined 9th century Persia through the eyes of the developers in Pune and Mumbai.

Relive the Prince’s journey for redemption after unwittingly releasing the Sands of Time on the Sultan’s Kingdom. As with the original, players will embody the heroic Prince alongside the daughter of the Maharaja, Princess Farah as they navigate the palace, battle sword-wielding enemies, maneuver trap-filled rooms and ultimately confront the evil Vizier, who controls the Sands of Time. Players continue to progress as they combat enemies and master the art of parkour. Yuri Lowenthal returns, reprising his role as the Prince’s original voice and motion capture actor and players will be introduced to actress Supinder Wraich, who now plays the role of Farah.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake includes the original Prince of Persia game originally released in 1989, which can be unlocked during the Prince’s journey.

Starting January 21st, 2021, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store on Windows PC and UPLAY+, Ubisoft’s subscription service.

Ubisoft has just announced its third location-based virtual reality escape room, Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time.

Launching in spring 2020 in more than 300 locations across the globe, Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time is a team-based adventure set in the world of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Building on the success of Ubisoft’s VR escape rooms set in the world of Assassin’s Creed, Beyond Medusa’s Gate and Escape the Lost Pyramid, Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time continues to strengthen Ubisoft’s position in the location-based VR market.

Developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf, Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time is for all ages. Two, three or four players team up and work together to solve puzzles and find a way out of a reimagined Fortress of Time. In the story, players are summoned by Kaileena, the Empress of Time.

They are asked to help her to stop the evil plans of a Magi who is attempting to restore the sands to the Hourglass of Time and create an army of Sand Monsters. To successfully escape the fortress, players must use cooperative teamwork and problem-solving skills to complete objectives, utilizing powers such as time control from the dagger of time.

“Everyone has wished once to hold the incredible power to control time! Slow, pause or even rewind time when you most need it!” said Cyril Voiron, Executive Producer for Ubisoft’s Escape Games. “This is today made possible, only in VR, when you hold the Dagger of Time in our latest Larger-than-Life escape adventure.”
