Soulful Sol3 Mio crooner Moses Mackay is taking the lead in TVNZ 2’s brand-new season of The Bachelor New Zealand.

As one part of musical trio Sol3 Mio, Moses Mackay is used to life on the road.

With Covid-19 preventing travel for overseas concerts, the baritone singer is swapping his mic for a rose and taking up the role as the bachelor.

The 30-year-old is hoping to find someone special from this experience. Having spent most of his life selflessly putting others first, he’s seizing this opportunity to put himself out there.

“Being a musician, being an artist, you’re always travelling around the world, you’re always living a very peculiar life – not your typical. I’ve been in a serious relationship and coming out of it, for a long time, I didn’t think I was ready to step into the realm of dating and being vulnerable. “And then this happened to come up, while I’m home and c’est la vie. Life’s about journeys, life’s about experiences, and this is just another one!” This isn’t the first-time viewers will have seen Moses on TVNZ 2.

Moses took part in the popular reality series Celebrity Treasure Island in 2019, where he competed for his chosen charity The Dream Chaser Foundation, which raises awareness about the bone marrow registry. Mackay can also be heard on-air weekdays alongside his Sol3 Mio cousins Pene and Amitai, as part of Flava radio’s breakfast line-up.

The Bachelor will showcase stunning New Zealand landscapes, as our suave suitor and a cast of wonderful women travel around the nation, tackling adrenaline-filled dates and dreamy one-on-ones, where Mackay will have the perfect opportunity to find love.

Undertaker: The Last Ride, WWE’s new five-episode limited series event will begin streaming on WWE Network this Sunday, May 10th, 2020 at approximately 10pm ET immediately following the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. (New Zealand: Monday, May 11th, 2020 at approximately 2pm NZST).

The highly-anticipated documentary series gives viewers an unprecedented look at Mark Calaway, the man behind the legendary Undertaker, as he prepares for the final chapters of his storied 30-year career in WWE.

The limited series will stream on WWE Network as follows:

– Chapter 1: This Monday, May 11 immediately following Money In The Bank at approximately 2pm NZST.
– Chapter 2: Monday, May 18 (NZST) on demand

Red Carpet New Zealand is an Entertainment & Lifestyle Show with Erin Simpson & Friends comprising of new digital entertainment & lifestyle community event coverage and interviews with local personalities, influencers and actors.

Red Carpet New Zealand is an independent production to support and promote events from film premieres, awards shows, theatre opening nights, product launches, charity activities and special showcases.

Debbie’s daughter eight year old daughter Emma Byrnand has already acted in short films, voiced TV commercials and is a regular on the red carpet herself. Emma specialises in getting the reactions of children on the red carpet and at special events.

Red Carpet New Zealand’s technical team comprise of Steven Samuel Johnson and Simon Schueller, who together with Debbie Byrnand have previously produced several short films including “Pearl”, which won the Avalon Studio Award at TropFest 2017. Their red carpet coverage is complemented by top fashion photographer Neil Gussey, award-winning events photographer Carmen Bird along with award-winning music video director Shae Sterling.

WWE has just announced to us here at StG the first-ever Mae Young Classic women’s tournament will stream exclusively on WWE Network, starting Monday, August 28th, 2017 with the first four episodes available on demand. Episodes five through eight will be available on demand on Monday, September 4th, 2017. The final match will stream live from Las Vegas on Tuesday, September 12th at 10 p.m. ET. (Note: New Zealand NZST – from Monday 29th August with final match Wednesday 13th September at 5pm NZST)

The Mae Young Classic will be called by WWE Hall-of-Fame announcer Jim Ross, who will be joined on color commentary by four-time Women’s Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Lita. The tournament, named after WWE Hall of Famer and one of the greatest WWE Superstars in history, Mae Young, will feature 32 of the top female competitors from around the world participating in a single-elimination tournament.

“The Mae Young Classic is a unique and exclusive offering for WWE Network subscribers and further highlights our on-going commitment to the ‘women’s evolution’ in sports and entertainment,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events and Creative. “It’s a privilege to showcase these talented women from around the world and to provide them with an opportunity to shine before a global audience on WWE Network.”

Competitors announced thus far include Toni Storm from New Zealand; Princesa Sugehit from Mexico; Lacey Evans, Sarah Logan, Tessa Blanchard, and Abbey Laith from the United States; Kavita Devi from India; Jazzy Gabert from Germany; and Taynara Conti from Brazil.

WWE Network will also stream an exclusive special entitled, Mae Young Classic: Bracketology immediately following SummerSlam, on Sunday, August 20th, 2017 at 11 p.m. ET. (Note: New Zealand NZST – Monday 21st August at 3pm NZST).
