<p>Motorola are giving us the edge with their newest lineup of Android based smartphones.</p>
<p>The flagship of the Edge series, the <em>Motorola Edge 50 Pro</em> comes with the goods without the hefty price tag.</p>
<p>Three cameras at the rear start out with a 50MP main lens, joined by a 10MP telephoto and 13MP ultrawide.</p>
<p>For your professional, social network worthy selfies you’ve got an additional 50MP camera. That’s more than other competitors top shelf devices offer and overly generous.</p>
<p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62594" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094311-1.jpg?x67281" alt="Motorola Edge 50 Pro" width="1280" height="992" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094311-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094311-1-300x233.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094311-1-768x595.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>The <em>Motorola Edge 50 Pro</em> records video, either front facing or rear camera’s at 4K and makes use of adaptive A.I.</p>
<p>From image enhancement, stabilization through to subject tracking, your content creating vids are always going to be smooth, even if the path is bumpy or your subject is erratically moving about.</p>
<p>There’s a wide menu of shooting and pic taking modes on offer and I’m pleased to say that the Night Vision photo’s come out, well, a bit too dark.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div id="attachment_62599" style="width: 1290px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-62599" class="size-full wp-image-62599" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Motorola-Edge-50-Pro-Night-Vision.jpg?x67281" alt="Motorola Edge 50 Pro - Night Vision" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Motorola-Edge-50-Pro-Night-Vision.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Motorola-Edge-50-Pro-Night-Vision-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Motorola-Edge-50-Pro-Night-Vision-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /><p id="caption-attachment-62599" class="wp-caption-text">Motorola Edge 50 Pro &#8211; Night Vision</p></div>
<p>Inside the <em>Motorola Edge 50 Pro</em> you’ve got a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor crunching the data coupled with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM (model reviewed).</p>
<p>The P-OLED 6.7 inch screen is rich in colour and detail and has curved edges, making the Motorola Edge 50 Pro all screen, with little bordering top and bottom.</p>
<p>Battery wise you get a 4,500mAh. That’s not too bad.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62595" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094403-1.jpg?x67281" alt="Motorola Edge 50 Pro" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094403-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094403-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094403-1-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>If you’re an average phone user, you’re set for a couple of days, easily. However, as this phone’s features are slated towards photo snapping and video content I would’ve liked to see a bit more battery power here.</p>
<p>This said, when testing out the <em>Motorola Edge 50 Pro</em> camera, normal usage and mobile gaming, the battery life held up very well.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62597" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094431-1.jpg?x67281" alt="Motorola Edge 50 Pro" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094431-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094431-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/20240826_094431-1-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>Whether you’re in to content creation, mobile gaming, or simply just after a smartphone that’s got superior quality camera’s the <em>Motorola Edge 50 Pro</em> is where it’s at.</p>
<p>The <em>Motorola Edge 50 Pro</em> has a lot going on in the way of features at a pricing tier that makes this new smartphone an absolute must for your next upgrade.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
