The World Stage Returns to Indonesia

The biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang showdown is officially returning to Indonesia. MOONTON Games has revealed full details for the M7 World Championship 2026, including its ticket sales, tournament format, and a special fan event called the M7 Carnival.

This marks the first time the global MLBB championship will be held in Indonesia since M4 in 2022. The tournament will run throughout January 2026, making it the first major international esports event of the year in Southeast Asia.

Ticket Sales and Early Bird Discounts

Fans eager to witness the action live in Jakarta can start securing their seats from 2 November 2025 through the official MOONTON website. To sweeten the deal, there’s an early bird discount of 20% available until 30 November 2025.

Given Indonesia’s massive Mobile Legends fanbase, demand is expected to be high. With international teams flying in from around the world, tickets are likely to sell out fast.

Tournament Format Explained

The M7 World Championship will unfold across three main stages, the Wildcard Stage, Swiss Stage, and Knockout Stage, offering fans nearly a full month of top-tier MLBB competition.

Wildcard Stage (3–6 January 2026)

This opening stage features eight teams from new and emerging regions. Divided into two groups, teams will battle it out in a single round-robin format. The top two from each group will then cross over to play in qualification matches, where the winners earn their ticket to the Swiss Stage.

Swiss Stage (10–17 January 2026)

Held at MPL Arena XO Hall in Jakarta, this phase brings together 16 elite teams, including MPL representatives from regions like Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
Each team must secure three wins out of five to move on. Matches will range from best-of-one to best-of-three series, ensuring a balanced mix of strategy and adaptability.

Knockout Stage (21–25 January 2026)

The Knockout Stage will take place at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan, GBK, featuring a double-elimination format.
All matches will follow a best-of-five setup, except for the Grand Finals, which will expand to an intense best-of-seven showdown.

The total prize pool sits at USD $1 million (approx. NZD $1.7 million), with the world champion taking home a cool USD $320,000.

The M7 Carnival: A Festival for Fans

Outside the arena, MOONTON is turning up the excitement with the M7 Carnival, running from 23–25 January 2026 at Stadion Madya GBK.

This fan festival will have separate tickets and will include:

• Live performances and music concerts
• Watch parties for the semifinals and finals
• Creator and pro player meet-and-greets
• The debut of the M7 Talent Show, where fans and creators can showcase their skills
