Amazon Studios will release award-winning filmmaker Michael D. Ratner’s Justin Bieber: Our World globally, it was announced today.

The revealing and exhilarating documentary goes inside the global superstar’s life and his first full concert in three years, and is produced by Ratner’s OBB Pictures, Bieber Time Films, and Scooter Braun Films. It will premiere worldwide in over 240 countries and territories on Prime Video October 8.

Justin Bieber: Our World takes viewers backstage, onstage, and into the private world of the musical icon as he prepares for his unprecedented concert, “T-Mobile Presents New Year’s Eve Live with Justin Bieber.” After a three-year hiatus from a full performance, and with concert venues shut down due to the pandemic, Bieber delivers an electrifying show to close out 2020 on the rooftop of the Beverly Hilton Hotel for 240 invited guests, and millions of fans across the globe watching via livestream.

The film follows Bieber and his close-knit team in the month leading up to the show, as they rehearse and construct a monumental stage while adhering to strict health and safety protocols. The film also captures personal, self-shot moments between Bieber and his wife Hailey.

Global superstar Bieber recently reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the second time in eight months with “Stay,” his smash collaboration with The Kid LAROI.

His eighth career #1 single, “Stay” made history, as Bieber became the youngest solo artist ever to reach 100 hits on the chart.

His certified-platinum hit “Peaches” debuted at #1 on the Hot 100 and hit #1 on both the Top 40 and Rhythmic Airplay charts. “Peaches”, with more than 1.5 billion streams worldwide, is the latest single from Bieber’s global #1 album Justice, his eighth album to debut at #1 on the Billboard200.

Earlier this year, Bieber made history as the first male solo artist to debut at #1 on both the Billboard 200 album chart and Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

For the release of his new single INTENTIONS, Justin Bieber has partnered up with the LA-based nonprofit organization Alexandria House, which provides safe and supportive housing for women and children who are transitioning from emergency shelter to economic stability and permanent housing.

Justin’s new video INTENTIONS tells the stories of three “graduates” of Alexandria’s transitional housing program. To honor these incredible women, and the untold stories of so many who show such strength and resilience in difficult times, an INTENTIONS Fund has been established in the amount of $200,000 to support the goals and dreams of the families Alexandria House supports.

Philanthropic work has been a core value for Justin Bieber since the start of his career: Justin holds the record for most wishes granted by a musical artist via the Make-a-Wish Foundation, with more than 350 wishes granted for terminally ill children.

Justin has donated millions of dollars to Pencils of Promise, providing access to quality education for thousands of students around the world.

In 2010, 2012, and 2016, he donated $1 for every ticket sold of his world tours (“My World,” “Believe,” and “Purpose,” respectively) to the organization.

In December 2019, Justin and Hailey Bieber curated an art auction benefiting two organizations helping families in need – LIFT Los Angeles and Inner-City Arts. LIFT is a national nonprofit organization working to break the cycle of poverty for families. Inner-City Arts uses arts education to positively affect the lives of underserved children.

In 2019, Justin Bieber teamed up with Schmidt’s and Active Minds to change the conversation around mental health. $50,000 was donated to Active Minds to support their work on college campuses training students in life-saving V-A-R (validate, appreciate, refer) skills.

Justin recently committed $1 per ticket sold of his Changes tour to the Bieber Foundation, which will support mental health and wellness programs.

 Grammy-winning global superstar Justin Bieber delivers a Christmas gift to his fans today with the announce­ment of his brand new single “Yummy” arriving on Friday, January 3rd 2020, the first advance track from his forthcoming 2020 studio album. Today, in a special Super Trailer (above), Justin also announces a slate of 2020 tour dates across North America, launching in Seattle on May 14th 2020.
