Final Fantasy XIV is crossing over with Filipino fast food chain Jollibee in a limited-time collaboration that runs from Tuesday, 21 April to Sunday, 31 May 2026 across the United States and Canada. The deal covers two themed meals, a four-piece apparel line, a new Blue Raspberry Aether drink, a store takeover in Anaheim, and a brand new in-game “Eat Chicken” emote for the MMO.

Naoki Yoshida revealed the partnership during the most recent Live Letter from the Producer, the same broadcast that detailed Patch 7.5. It is one of the more unexpected crossovers FFXIV has signed off on, and the Eat Chicken emote is making its North American debut through this campaign.

What the Collaboration Includes

The campaign is built around two themed meals, a limited apparel drop, a new drink, and a cosmetic emote that ties it all together in-game. Everything is available while supplies last, with the emote itself redeemable until the end of November.

The big-ticket item on the FFXIV side is the Eat Chicken emote, which pulls a full bucket of fried chicken into your character’s hands and plays an animation of them taking a bite.

Outside the game, Jollibee is rolling out FFXIV-themed packaging across participating stores, alongside the Blue Raspberry Aether with Crystal Boba, a drink designed to mirror the look of FFXIV’s aetherytes with a bright blue colour and chewy crystal pearls. The Aether drink is exclusive to US stores. Canadian locations will serve the existing Pineapple Quencher inside the same meal bundles.

Collaboration Meals at a Glance

Both meals ship in limited-edition packaging featuring FFXIV characters, including artwork of baby Alpha holding a drumstick on the box. The packaging also carries the disclaimer, “No chocobos were harmed in the making of this meal.”

Four apparel pieces make up the merch line, sold exclusively through Complex.com while supplies last. Each one features either Moogles or chocobos paired with Jollibee branding, and the back of each piece carries a riff on Hydaelyn’s iconic “Hear, feel, think” line, reworked as “Hear. Feel. Think. Jollibee.”

How to Get the Eat Chicken Emote

There are two routes to the emote, and both require a real-world purchase followed by a code redemption on the Mog Station. The campaign window opens on 21 April 2026 at 9:00 a.m. PDT and closes on 31 May 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

Method One: Buy a Collaboration Meal

Order either the FFXIV Box Meal or the FFXIV 6-Piece Bucket Bundle at any Jollibee location in the US or Canada. All ordering methods qualify, including in-store, drive-thru, online pick-up, and delivery.

Method Two: Buy the Collaboration Merch

Order any item from the Jollibee x Final Fantasy XIV apparel line through Complex.com. A valid US or Canada shipping address is required. This is the path for anyone who does not have a Jollibee within reach.

Redeeming the Code

Once you have your receipt or order confirmation, head to the Jollibee redemption page and submit the order details before 30 November 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Validation can take 24 to 48 hours, after which an item code arrives by email. Log in to the Mog Station with your Square Enix account, switch to the correct service account if you have more than one, select Enter Item Code, and follow the prompts to deliver the emote to your chosen character. The code does not expire and cannot be redeemed on a Free Trial account.

Anaheim Store Takeover for Fan Festival 2026

The Jollibee location in Anaheim, California will be redecorated with FFXIV-themed decor for the full duration of the campaign, from 21 April to 31 May. The timing is built around Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026, which takes place in Anaheim on 24 and 25 April and is already sold out. Customers visiting the Anaheim store during the takeover can grab limited-edition Jollibee x FFXIV stickers made specifically for Fan Fest, available while supplies last.

A separate sweepstakes is also planned, with prizes and entry details to be shared through the official Jollibee and FFXIV social channels closer to launch.

Where the Crossover Fits in FFXIV’s Current Run

Yoshida unveiled the deal during the same Live Letter that walked players through Patch 7.5, which goes live on 28 April. With Fan Fest landing the weekend before the patch, and the next expansion expected to be revealed at the show, the Jollibee tie-in slots into a packed three-week stretch designed to keep the playerbase locked in.

Brand crossovers in MMORPGs are usually limited to in-game cosmetics tied to streaming subscriptions or bundled DLC. Anchoring an emote drop to a fast food chain with a strong cultural following, particularly within the Filipino community that overlaps heavily with FFXIV’s fanbase, is a less conventional path. For players outside the US and Canada, the merch route through Complex.com is currently the only option, and even that requires a North American shipping address.
