“Hiya Georgie!”

From the widely acclaimed 2017 horror film “IT” comes a Nendoroid of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Even in adorable Nendoroid style, Pennywise’s ominous appearance from the film has been carefully preserved. The figure comes with two interchangeable face plates: a face with blue eyes from the film’s first scene when Pennywise appears in the storm drain and an attacking face.

The Nendoroid is fully articulated, making it easy to recreate a wide variety of terrifying scenes from the film. It can be posed holding a balloon, allowing you to display Pennywise in his simple yet eerie standing pose. Additionally, a recreation of the storm drain from the film’s first scene and Georgie’s paper boat are included.

Be sure to add Nendoroid Pennywise to your collection. If you’re brave enough.

The Loser’s Club reunites.

IT Chapter 2 takes us back to Derry. A small American town saturated in mysterious disappearances of children. Every 27 years.

Mike Hanlon, the only one who still remains in Derry hears of a recent killing he realises that IT is back.

Mike rallies the rest of the gang back to Derry on a promise they all made back in 1986, that if IT returned, so would they, and take the supernatural being down – hopefully for good.

All adults now, all with very different lives and with little memory of their childhood in Derry, each one of the Loser’s Club react differently to Mike’s call.

But a promise is a promise and all but one drop and head back to Derry; Bill, Ben, Beverly, Eddie.

As each of them revisits their hometown, they also begin to face the demons and torments of their youth.

It’s not too long before old memories, good and bad come flooding back to the group. When Mike reveals the reason they are all there, there is a mix of both dread and frustration.

IT Chapter 2 takes the audience through the now adult kids from the first film, and delves deeper in to the lore of IT and what the creature, who prefers to disguise itself as Pennywise the Dancing Clown with a penchant for red balloons, actually is.

An extremely long film at two plus hours, there are points where it does seem to unnecessarily drag out. It Chapter 2 is a lot more violent than the first Chapter aswell.

Staying as true as possible to the original 80’s version, there are a few pleasing and amusing surprises in store.

Based on the Stephen King novel ‘IT’ it was also a surprise to see Stephen King himself cameo in the film.

While the ending was a bit long, IT Chapter 2 was still an excellent wrap up and was done well, considering that the Directors had to bear in mind not just the original films but also appease fans of the novel aswell.

If you watched the first IT in 2017, you really must see this conclusion. If not – watch the first Chapter before going to see this sequel.

Principal photography has begun on New Line Cinema’s IT CHAPTER TWO, director Andy Muschietti’s follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit IT, which grossed over $700 million globally. Both redefining and transcending the genre, “IT” became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, IT CHAPTER TWO brings the characters, who’ve long since gone their separate ways, back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film. Bill Skarsgård returns in the seminal role of Pennywise. James McAvoy (“Split,” upcoming “Glass”) stars as Bill, Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty,” “Mama”) as Beverly, Bill Hader (HBO’s “Barry,” “The Skeleton Twins”) as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa (TV’s “Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments”) as Mike, Jay Ryan (TV’s “Mary Kills People”) as Ben, James Ransone (HBO’s “The Wire”) as Eddie, and Andy Bean (“Allegiant,” Starz’ “Power”) as Stanley.

Reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Lieberher as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie.

Muschietti directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (“IT,” “Annabelle: Creation”) based on the novel by Stephen King. Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee are producing the film. Marty Ewing, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg are the executive producers.

The behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Checco Varese (“The 33”), Oscar-winning production designer Paul D. Austerberry (“The Shape of Water”), editor Jason Ballantine (“IT,” “Mad Max: Fury Road”), and Oscar-nominated costume designer Luis Sequeira (“The Shape of Water,” “Mama”).

Production will take place in Toronto, Canada.

Set to open in New Zealand and Australia on September 5th, 2019, IT CHAPTER TWO is a New Line Cinema production. It will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company and by Roadshow Films in Australia and New Zealand.

Lenovo celebrated twenty-five years of cutting edge design and engineering innovation of its ThinkPad at a special milestone event held yesterday at the Ivy in Sydney, alongside customers, business and channel partners.

Designed by Richard Sapper and engineered in the Yamato Labs in Japan, the original ThinkPad 700C was announced on October the 5th 1992. Inspired by the traditional Japanese bento box, the 700C was the start of an amazing journey.

It’s time to revisit the small American town of Derry.

A town where for decades upon decades strange disappearances of children have taken place. Every 27 years.

It’s the late 1980’s and a group of friends, who each have experienced either loss or family issues of some description band together to escape the local bullies. They call themselves the ‘Losers Club’.

But, there are more than just the bully gang to worry about. They are being hunted, one by one, by a creature that has taken up residence in the local sewer system. That creature, which can shape-shift into your worst nightmare and feed on your fears is called IT (Bill Skarsgard) and mostly reveals itself as Pennywise, the Dancing Clown.

After one of the characters, Ben Denbrough (Jaeden Lieberher) has his little brother Georgie declared as missing, the group of friends realise that there are more missing kids and a mystery surrounding their disappearances.

The new kid on the block (when you see the film, you will appreciate this pun) Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor) initially struggles to make friends before becoming a part of the ‘Loser’s Club’ so he fulfils his time at the local library researching his new hometown. His amateur detective work and alot of spare time maps the disappearances within the town over many decades to one focal point in the small town.

As each one of the kids is being terrorized by an animated, seemingly real life version of their worst fear, they take it upon themselves to unravel the town’s dark past and resolve the cause themselves.

But first, they need to get over their own personal fears…

Based on the Stephen King novel and a second jaunt from print to screen (original aired in 1990 starring the legendary Tim Curry), this re-work of It takes a different approach from the first film, with the narrative playing out from the kids’ perspective.

IT (2017) harkens back to the feel good adventure films of the 80’s and it is fair to say that it has a Stranger Things flavour to it. One of the child actors from that series; Finn Wolfhard who plays the very mouthy and sarcastic Ritchie Tozier.

IT (2017) is a horror flick with a difference. The film has a light hearted approach and numerous laugh moments which it intertwines with fright and terror very, very well.

When I first heard about the remake of IT was in production I was skeptical and held the view of “should they really remake a classic?”.

Yes they should, and did, exceeding even my expectations.

Whether a horror fan or not, IT will cater to everyone. You will probably find yourself reminiscing about your own childhood, especially if you grew up in a small town (like I did) and while there are scary moments to be had, it is not your average horror film.

So confront your own personal fears and get seated in to a cinema to be taken on one hell of an adventure with IT (2017).

IT will have your ‘floating’ in your chair.
