<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<h3 data-start="491" data-end="548">A New Battlefield Tournament with Serious Firepower</h3>
<p data-start="550" data-end="937">The <em data-start="554" data-end="569">CouRage Clash</em> marks Battlefield 6’s biggest influencer event yet, celebrating the explosive launch of the RedSec expansion. Taking place entirely within the game’s new <strong data-start="724" data-end="741">Gauntlet Mode</strong>, players will battle across key areas of the <strong data-start="787" data-end="802">Fort Lyndon</strong> battle royale map, completing objectives like capturing consoles, holding zones, and protecting VIPs while fending off enemy squads.</p>
<p data-start="939" data-end="1308">The format will feature <strong data-start="963" data-end="995">eight squads of four players</strong>, with each round eliminating lower-placed teams until a single squad remains standing after round four. With $100,000 (around £76,200) on the line, fans can expect some intense firefights, tactical plays, and high-level coordination from some of the most skilled and entertaining creators in the FPS scene.</p>
<h3 data-start="1315" data-end="1354">Creators Rush to Join the Line-Up</h3>
<p data-start="1356" data-end="1552">Following the announcement, CouRageJD took to social media to call for participants, and the response was immediate. Top streamers from every corner of the world threw their names into the hat.</p>
<p data-start="1554" data-end="1795">Brazilian creator <strong data-start="1572" data-end="1584">StolenBR</strong> expressed his wish to “play and represent Brazil,” while Spanish-speaking streamers <strong data-start="1669" data-end="1682">Deus Amir</strong>, <strong data-start="1684" data-end="1698">El Panito5</strong>, and <strong data-start="1704" data-end="1713">Kesto</strong> voiced their eagerness to bring their massive communities into the competition.</p>
<p data-start="1797" data-end="2103">North American names like <strong data-start="1823" data-end="1837">DiazBiffle</strong>, <strong data-start="1839" data-end="1855">OpTic ZLaner</strong>, and <strong data-start="1861" data-end="1874">EndersFPS</strong> also showed strong interest, alongside Aussie streamer <strong data-start="1930" data-end="1941">SilkOCE</strong>, who joked about missing out due to regional restrictions. Even <strong data-start="2006" data-end="2021">PrimitiveAK</strong> chimed in humorously, imagining “losing $100,000 to a tank in the last circle.”</p>
<p data-start="2105" data-end="2319">The excitement reflects just how much anticipation Battlefield 6’s <em data-start="2172" data-end="2180">RedSec</em> expansion has built among creators and fans alike, especially with this being the first large-scale influencer tournament for the game.</p>
<h3 data-start="2326" data-end="2364">What Makes Gauntlet Mode Special</h3>
<p data-start="2366" data-end="2699">Battlefield’s <em data-start="2380" data-end="2395">Gauntlet Mode</em> is a fresh addition introduced with the <strong data-start="2436" data-end="2457">RedSec Season One</strong> update. It combines the chaos of battle royale with structured, objective-based gameplay. Players are forced to adapt between aggressive combat and coordinated teamwork as they capture, defend, and complete missions across different zones.</p>
<p data-start="2701" data-end="2893">This makes the mode ideal for competitive play, striking a balance between entertainment and strategic skill, something CouRageJD is clearly aiming to highlight through the <em data-start="2875" data-end="2890">CouRage Clash</em>.</p>
<h3 data-start="2900" data-end="2944">CouRage’s Return to Esports Commentary</h3>
<p data-start="2946" data-end="3244">For longtime fans, this tournament marks a full-circle moment for CouRageJD. While he’s best known today for his energetic content and co-ownership of 100 Thieves, he actually began his career as an <strong data-start="3145" data-end="3168">esports commentator</strong> with Major League Gaming, covering titles like Call of Duty back in 2018.</p>
<p data-start="3246" data-end="3583">More recently, <a href="https://www.shanethegamer.com/esports-news/courage-clash-marvel-rivals-tournament/">CouRage hosted a successful <strong data-start="3289" data-end="3326">$100,000 Marvel Rivals tournament</strong></a> in October 2025, <a href="https://www.shanethegamer.com/esports-news/marvel-rivals-courage-clash-winners-necros-clayster/">featuring players like Vladan “Necros” Konstantinov and James “Clayster” Eubanks</a>. That event drew impressive viewership, blending competitive energy with influencer appeal, something this Battlefield 6 tournament looks set to replicate.</p>
<h3 data-start="3590" data-end="3624">Looking Ahead to November 11</h3>
<p data-start="3626" data-end="3966">With hype building across social media, Battlefield fans won’t have to wait long to see how this plays out. The <em data-start="3738" data-end="3753">CouRage Clash</em> kicks off on <strong data-start="3767" data-end="3788">November 11, 2025</strong>, bringing together global communities across Twitch, Kick, and YouTube for one of the year’s most anticipated crossover events between content creation and competitive gaming.</p>
<p data-start="3968" data-end="4155">Whether it’s the tactical chaos of Gauntlet or the sheer star power of the player roster, this Battlefield 6: RedSec tournament is shaping up to be a must-watch moment in the FPS scene.</p>

<h2 data-start="949" data-end="973">What is THE FINALS?</h2>
<p data-start="975" data-end="1221"><em data-start="975" data-end="987">THE FINALS</em> is a fast-paced, free-to-play competitive shooter developed by Embark Studios. It throws teams of three into destructible, highly interactive arenas where they battle to grab cash and deposit it in vaults before their opponents do.</p>
<p data-start="1223" data-end="1273">What makes <em data-start="1234" data-end="1246">THE FINALS</em> stand out is its mix of:</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="1276" data-end="1382">Dynamic environments – buildings, walls, and floors can be blown apart to change the flow of combat.</li>
<li data-start="1385" data-end="1464">Unique playstyles – light, medium, and heavy builds with custom loadouts.</li>
<li data-start="1467" data-end="1612">Spectacle and style – matches are presented as a high-energy game show, complete with announcers, flashy visuals, and unpredictable twists.</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="1614" data-end="1781">It’s a game where quick thinking and wild creativity are just as important as aim, and it’s built to deliver moments that look incredible both to play and to watch.</p>
<div style="width: 1610px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" src="https://assetsio.gnwcdn.com/the-finals-header.png?width=1600&amp;height=900&amp;fit=crop&amp;quality=100&amp;format=png&amp;enable=upscale&amp;auto=webp" alt="The Finals is a gloriously destructive shooter that's too frantic for its own good | Rock Paper Shotgun" width="1600" height="900" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Image Credit: Embark Studios</p></div>
<h2 data-start="964" data-end="990">The Road to Stockholm</h2>
<p data-start="992" data-end="1186">The Grand Major is open to three regions: America (NA), Europe, Middle East &amp; Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC).</p>
<h3 data-start="1193" data-end="1218">Open Qualifiers</h3>
<p data-start="1220" data-end="1338">Here’s how teams make it from day one to the big stage. It all starts here. Each region gets two Open Qualifier events, giving teams two chances to fight their way through.</p>
<p data-start="1340" data-end="1359">How it works:</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="1362" data-end="1529">Seeding Phase: Teams jump into 3v3 Final Round matches, playing three best-of-three heats. The first round is random, then the rest is based on win-loss records.</li>
<li data-start="1532" data-end="1614">Knockout Phase: A single-elimination bracket where every match is do-or-die.</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="1616" data-end="1732">From each qualifier, the top eight teams move forward, that’s 16 per region heading to the Closed Qualifiers.</p>
<div style="width: 1510px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" src="https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62d66fa29e72c560f8efc020/bd5363c1-03d1-4eb1-870e-306ae0499e19/OPEN_QUALIFIER.jpg?format=1500w" alt="" width="1500" height="844" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Image Credit: Embark Studios</p></div>
<p data-start="1734" data-end="1903">In APAC, the process is run by Nexon and Tencent, so the exact format may differ slightly, but the goal’s the same: make the cut and keep your Grand Major dream alive.</p>
<h3 data-start="1910" data-end="1937">Closed Qualifiers</h3>
<p data-start="1939" data-end="2017">This stage is where the action ramps up, and the broadcast coverage begins.</p>
<p data-start="2019" data-end="2051">Hybrid Elimination Format:</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="2054" data-end="2117">Cashout Matches (3v3v3v3) – fast-paced, multi-team chaos.</li>
<li data-start="2120" data-end="2185">Final Round (3v3) – classic <em data-start="2152" data-end="2164">THE FINALS</em> head-to-head play.</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="2187" data-end="2421">Teams first battle it out in Cashout, with the top two moving to a Final Round. Win that, and you’re straight into the Grand Major. Lose, and you’ve still got a second shot in another Cashout run, but mess up twice, and you’re out.</p>
<div style="width: 1510px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" src="https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62d66fa29e72c560f8efc020/9d8f1f36-9cee-43cb-93e4-32c7c11736f0/CLOSED_QUALIFIER_EMEA.jpg?format=1500w" alt="" width="1500" height="844" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Image Credit: Embark Studios</p></div>
<p data-start="2423" data-end="2436">By the end:</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="2439" data-end="2474">NA sends 7 teams to Stockholm</li>
<li data-start="2477" data-end="2501">EMEA sends 6 teams</li>
<li data-start="2504" data-end="2528">APAC sends 3 teams</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="2530" data-end="2573">That’s our 16 Grand Major contenders.</p>
<h3 data-start="2580" data-end="2627">The Grand Major – DreamHack Stockholm</h3>
<h5 data-start="2629" data-end="2755">28 November, Day One</h5>
<p data-start="2629" data-end="2755">All 16 qualified teams face off in hybrid elimination matches that mixes Cashout and Final Round Gameplay. By the end of the day, only eight teams survive.</p>
<div style="width: 1510px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" src="https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62d66fa29e72c560f8efc020/7a24ff82-eb7f-4745-aa3a-7b6e920b19e9/MAJOR_DAYONE.jpg?format=1500w" alt="" width="1500" height="844" /><p class="wp-caption-text">image Credit: Embark Studios</p></div>
<h5 data-start="2757" data-end="3011">29 November, Day Two</h5>
<p data-start="2757" data-end="3011">The eight become four, and this is where it gets spicy. These final four teams keep looping through Cashout matches and Best-of-Two Final Rounds. Each Final Round win earns a point. First to five points? They’re the Grand Major champions.</p>
<div style="width: 1510px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" src="https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/62d66fa29e72c560f8efc020/75924811-277c-4a1e-9903-e8fb8788fba2/MAJOR_DAYTWO.jpg?format=1500w" alt="" width="1500" height="844" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Image Credit: Embark Studios</p></div>
<h2 data-start="3018" data-end="3045">More Than Just Matches</h2>
<p data-start="3047" data-end="3123">Embark Studios says the Grand Major won’t just be about the games. Expect:</p>
<ul>
<li data-start="3126" data-end="3166">In-game bundles and team-support items</li>
<li data-start="3169" data-end="3206">Broadcasts with top-tier production</li>
<li data-start="3209" data-end="3254">Opportunities to meet the devs at the event</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="3256" data-end="3365">Whether you’re grinding ranked, cheering from the crowd, or tuning in from home, you’re part of this story.</p>
<h2 data-start="2979" data-end="2999">How to Register</h2>
<p data-start="3001" data-end="3203">Think you’ve got what it takes to make it to Stockholm? Sign-ups for the Open Qualifiers go live 14 August 2025. You can register your team directly through the official <em data-start="3175" data-end="3187">THE FINALS</em> website here:</p>

<h3 data-start="3795" data-end="3813">How to Watch</h3>

<p>After an explosive showing in 2024, Call of Duty: Warzone is dropping straight back into the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh for 2025. From 6th to 9th August, 21 of the best trio squads from around the globe will battle it out on Rebirth Island, all for a shot at glory and a slice of a juicy $1 million USD prize pool.</p>

<p data-start="976" data-end="1296">Last year’s champs, <strong data-start="996" data-end="1012">Team Falcons</strong>, made up of <em data-start="1026" data-end="1043">Biffle, Shifty,</em> and <em data-start="1048" data-end="1054">Soka</em>, absolutely cooked the lobby in 2024, walking away with the title and a cool $200,000. Not only did they rack up an eye-watering 137 kills across the finals, but they also went unbeaten in their group stage, a first in Warzone history.</p>
<div style="width: 1034px" class="wp-caption alignnone"><img decoding="async" src="https://media.dotesports.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/cod-warzone-ewc-team-falcons-players-1024x683.jpg" alt="Team Falcons players Biffle, Shifty, and Soka pose for a photo at the Warzone Esports World Cup 2024." width="1024" height="683" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Image Credit: Esports World Cup</p></div>
<p data-start="1298" data-end="1585">Now, they’re back to defend their crown, but the competition&#8217;s looking fierce. With teams like <strong data-start="1393" data-end="1440">100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, Virtus.pro,</strong> and a full spread of regional qualifiers from <strong data-start="1487" data-end="1504">MENA to LATAM</strong>, there’s no shortage of hungry challengers looking to knock them off the throne.</p>
<h3 data-start="1592" data-end="1643"><strong data-start="1596" data-end="1643">Tournament Format: Three Stages, One Winner</strong></h3>
<p data-start="1645" data-end="1770">The Warzone EWC 2025 sticks to the now-familiar Resurgence Trios mode – meaning non-stop action and very little downtime.</p>
<p data-start="1772" data-end="1798">Here’s how it breaks down:</p>
<p data-start="1802" data-end="1976"><strong data-start="1802" data-end="1828">Stage 1 – Group Stage:</strong><br data-start="1828" data-end="1831" />21 teams are split into three groups of seven. Each group plays four maps. The top seven teams across all groups go straight to the finals.</p>
<p data-start="1980" data-end="2156"><strong data-start="1980" data-end="2022">Stage 2 – Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ):</strong><br data-start="2022" data-end="2025" />The 14 teams who didn’t make it through the groups battle across six matches. Only the top seven from this stage move on.</p>
<p data-start="2160" data-end="2505"><strong data-start="2160" data-end="2185">Stage 3 – The Finals:</strong><br data-start="2185" data-end="2188" />14 teams face off in a high-pressure Match Point format. Teams must reach a certain point threshold through kills and placements. Once they do, they enter “match point” status – but to win the tournament, they’ve got to win a match while on match point. Sounds stressful? It is. One win can flip everything.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After a dramatic three-day showdown in Riyadh, Myanmar’s Yangon Galacticos have taken out the </span><b>PMWC 2025 (PUBG MOBILE World Cup)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, part of this year’s massive </span><b>Esports World Cup</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in Saudi Arabia. Not only does this mark their first-ever global title, but it’s also the first time a team from Myanmar has clinched an EWC championship.</span></p>
<h3><b>From Underdogs to Unstoppable</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Their road to victory was anything but straightforward. Yangon Galacticos barely scraped through the group stage in 11th place, sending them into the high-pressure </span><b>Survival Stage,</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> a brutal cutthroat round where only the top eight would advance. In the tightest of margins, they squeezed into the Grand Finals in 8th, just one point above the cutoff.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But once they got there, something clicked.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Day One of the finals, YG came out swinging. With </span><b>two chicken dinners</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, plus a 2nd and 4th place finish, they rocketed up the leaderboard. Their momentum carried over to Day Two with another two wins and a solid run of placements that left them sitting on top heading into the final day.</span></p>

<h3><b>The Smash Rule Twist</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Day Three introduced the </span><b>Smash Rule</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, a unique twist where teams had to surpass the top points score by at least 10, and then win a match, to take the crown.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">YG were the first team to hit the match point target, joined not long after by </span><b>Alpha Gaming</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and </span><b>Weibo Gaming</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, both hot on their heels. But none of them could close it out with a match win, meaning the title would come down to total points.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the end, Yangon Galacticos held on with </span><b>157 points</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, outlasting Weibo Gaming on 142 and Alpha Gaming on 141. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With that, they walked away with </span><b>USD $500,000</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in prize money, plus another </span><b>$47,000</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> from earlier stages, bringing their total haul to </span><b>$547,000</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">. <h3><b>MVP Goes to Mongolia’s DOK</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While Alpha Gaming fell just short of the win, </span><b>Uuganbayar “DOK” Dulguun</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> walked away with individual honours.
