After days of speculation spiralling across Reddit and X, TenZ has directly addressed allegations surrounding his breakup with Kyedae, firmly denying claims of cheating and calling out what he described as fabricated narratives.

The response comes after a wave of online rumours attempted to reframe the couple’s split as something far messier than both parties had previously stated.

Kyedae Confirmed The Breakup And Set Boundaries Early

On 8 February, Kyedae publicly confirmed that she and TenZ had already been broken up for some time. In a detailed statement, she explained that the relationship ended because they had stopped growing as individuals, not due to betrayal, resentment, or a specific incident.

pic.twitter.com/s3Ux8KywlK

— Kyedae (@kyedae) February 8, 2026

She described how they had effectively grown up together, moving in weeks after meeting and sharing nearly every aspect of life from ages 17 to 24. Over time, both realised they needed space to develop independently. Kyedae explicitly addressed internet speculation, stating there was no wrongdoing and asking for privacy.

Later that same day, she joked about comments accusing her breakup statement of being AI written, clarifying it was not, and lightly acknowledging how closely people scrutinise every detail online.

TenZ Addressed False Narratives And Defended Kyedae

The following day, 9 February, TenZ posted his own message after noticing what he described as “really weird posts” spreading hate and misinformation.

Hey everyone — I’ve been seeing a lot of really weird posts about Kyedae and me that are creating false narratives and spreading unnecessary hate — it’s really disheartening to see.

We parted on completely mutual terms, and we still care deeply about each other. It honestly…

— TenZ (@TenZOfficial) February 8, 2026

He reiterated that the breakup was mutual and emphasised that they still care deeply about each other. TenZ also pushed back against claims that Kyedae influenced his decision to step away from professional Valorant, stating clearly that he quit of his own accord as his goals changed.

He highlighted how damaging it was to see Kyedae targeted, especially while she continues to deal with ongoing health issues, and asked people to respect their decision rather than manufacture drama.

Reddit Rumours Fueled Cheating Allegations

Despite both statements, speculation continued. On 10 February, posts circulating on Reddit claimed Kyedae had been cheating since December.

One now deleted thread from r/OTVnFriendsDrama, posted around 13 days earlier, listed a series of observations such as Instagram posts being removed, engagement rings no longer appearing on stream, unfollowing activity, and the couple spending holidays apart. The post framed these as evidence something had gone wrong, though none of the claims were confirmed.

People on Reddit are saying that Kyedae was cheating on TenZ since December last year. pic.twitter.com/vTT5iPXlJk

— ︎ ︎venom (@venom1s) February 9, 2026

Another older deleted Reddit post referenced Kyedae allegedly spending time with the ex of streamer Daph, further fuelling the cheating narrative without direct proof.

TenZ Directly Shut Down The Cheating Claims

Recently, TenZ responded again, this time with visible frustration. He described the ongoing rumours as “genuinely disgusting” and said people were deliberately cropping photos and omitting context to push a cheating story that did not exist.

Okay this is genuinely disgusting that people are still spitting out bullshit onto the timeline. There’s some stuff I am going to clear up since people are just throwing around blind hate to push a narrative that is non-existent. John is a friend of both mine and Kyedae, just… https://t.co/CjmqC3BjtK

— TenZ (@TenZOfficial) February 9, 2026

TenZ clarified that the individual at the centre of the rumours, John, is a mutual friend of both himself and Kyedae. He explained that a trip photo being shared online was misleading, noting he was supposed to attend but cancelled last minute and that another close friend was conveniently cropped out of the image.

He also addressed a separate false claim circulating online that he had donated bone marrow to Kyedae, stating flatly that it never happened. TenZ questioned whether the situation had crossed into rage bait territory, adding that it was rare for him to become emotionally charged by internet hate.

A Final Response With A Hint Of Sarcasm

Shortly after, TenZ followed up with a second post, striking a sharply different tone. He joked that years in esports had made him immune to online hate and sarcastically invited those still projecting to interact with his tweet so he could collect X revenue and “pop champagne” in their honour.

Playing esports made me immune to feeling anything from internet hate. To the people still projecting, please interact with this tweet so I can collect some twitter revenue and pop champagne tonight in honor of you! ❤️ https://t.co/0wBKqxkk7K

— TenZ (@TenZOfficial) February 9, 2026

While the message was lighthearted on the surface, it highlighted how far the situation had drifted from a private breakup into sustained public scrutiny driven by speculation rather than facts.

Both TenZ and Kyedae have remained consistent throughout. They have stated that the relationship ended due to personal growth, not infidelity, and no evidence has emerged to substantiate the cheating allegations despite repeated attempts to revive them online.

Beyond the rumours themselves, the situation reflects a familiar reality for relationships lived in the public eye. Choosing to step away, grow independently, and reclaim personal space is not a failure but often a necessary step forward. For TenZ and Kyedae, that choice belongs to them alone, and the freedom to move on separately will play a defining role in how each continues to grow, both personally and professionally.

Over the Christmas period, creators including Lacy, Silky, JasonTheWeen, StableRonaldo and others announced they had stepped away from FaZe Clan, effectively signalling the end of the current FaZe house era.

Adapt Confirms His Exit After 14 Years

The most emotional departure came from FaZe Adapt, who confirmed he had left the organisation after 14 years.

Left @FaZeClan

14 Years. Over half of my life, I’d be lying if I said this didn’t hurt, but it had to be done. Thank you to everyone who’s been apart of this journey, the best is yet to come.

— Adapt (@FaZeAdapt) December 26, 2025

In a short but heartfelt message, Adapt said he had spent over half his life with FaZe, admitting the decision hurt but was necessary. He thanked everyone who had been part of the journey and added that the best is yet to come, a line that quickly spread across social media.

For many fans, Adapt’s exit symbolised the end of an era, given his deep connection to FaZe since its early YouTube days.

Banks Pushes Back on Financial Claims

As speculation grew, FaZe co founder FaZe Banks addressed the situation publicly and promised to go through everything in detail on Twitch.

These guys had:

– Free housing
– Free filmers & staff
– All FaZe channels
– Zero % income shared

Their money and platforms all sky-rocketed after meeting me, but I’m the bad guy? None of it makes sense, and like I said above I’m going to get into all the details tomorrow.

— Banks (@Banks) December 26, 2025

Banks pushed back strongly against claims that creators were mistreated, stating that former members were given free housing, full access to FaZe channels, dedicated filming staff and did not have to share any income.

He claimed the housing was personally financed by him, putting him into debt and representing a major personal risk taken to support the group early on. Banks also accused some creators of being ungrateful, saying their egos and public behaviour made him sick to his stomach.

According to Banks, the narrative around the exits makes no sense and he intends to explain his side fully during his upcoming stream.

Plaqueboymax Speaks Out on Control and Ownership

Adding another layer to the drama, Plaqueboymax revealed that he had already left FaZe months earlier, back in August.

– Why he left

Max explained that his decision stemmed from long standing issues around ownership and control, which reportedly surfaced after a major sponsorship deal fell through. He suggested that members had little real control within the organisation and hinted that internal decisions were made without creator input.

In a widely shared breakdown of his stream, Plaqueboymax also referenced past incidents, including claims that Lacy had previously been kicked from FaZe and that members were caught in a situation bigger than themselves. He later issued an apology to fellow members while still standing by his core concerns.

ZooMaa Caught in the Middle

While many creators confirmed their departures, FaZe ZooMaa took to stream visibly emotional, saying he felt stuck in the middle and confused by how quickly everything had unfolded.

FaZe ZooMaa gets emotional on stream saying he feels left in the middle confused regarding all the drama with every member leaving FaZe today & thanks his community for sticking with him ❤️ pic.twitter.com/OZveSJhzC7

ZooMaa thanked his community for sticking with him and admitted he did not fully understand what was happening behind the scenes, a sentiment that echoed the confusion felt by much of the fanbase.

At the time of writing, ZooMaa, Kaysan and YourRage are the only creators still listed on FaZe Clan’s content team. YourRage has not commented publicly, while Kaysan shared a heartbroken emoji on X.

What Happens Next for FaZe and Its Creators?

With multiple exits confirmed and tensions aired publicly, questions are growing about FaZe Clan’s future direction. 100 Thieves member Valkyrae suggested on stream that several former FaZe creators may be planning to form a new group where they have greater ownership and control, though no official announcement has been made.

For now, fans are waiting on Banks’ full Twitch address, which is expected to shed more light on what led to one of the most dramatic breakups in esports and creator culture in recent memory.

Whether this marks a reset for FaZe Clan or the start of something entirely new for its departing members, the fallout from this situation is far from over.

The MongolZ Respond

The MongolZ moved quickly to clarify the situation on their official X (Twitter) account. In a detailed post, the team explained that the “B-Tier” meme between Aurora and The MongolZ has been ongoing banter ever since Wicadia once called them a “B-Tier” team. According to the team, bLitz’s comments were meant as trolling in response to that history, not genuine dislike.

Regarding the word “Manchu,” The MongolZ said it was misunderstood. In Mongolian, the term is often used to describe someone as sneaky or two-faced, stemming from historical context where the Manchu were once allies but later betrayed Mongolia. The team stressed that bLitz’s intention was not racist, but to imply that Aurora acted “tricky” by jokingly calling them brothers while also labelling them B-Tier.

Their statement ended on a light-hearted note with laughing emojis, making it clear that there is no real feud between the two rosters.

Aurora also downplayed the drama. Their official account replied with a handshake emoji, and The MongolZ responded with a heart. The mutual acknowledgement suggests there’s no lingering bad blood despite the online discourse.

Community Reaction

Reactions from fans have been mixed. Some called out bLitz for going too far, while others argued the situation was blown out of proportion. Launders chalked it up to “rage bait,” while community translators pointed out the cultural nuance of the word “Manchu.”

cause of death: rage bait https://t.co/XNnulwxHqe

Looking Ahead

Despite the online storm, both teams appear to be moving forward without issue. Just recently, The MongolZ proved their dominance by sweeping Aurora 3-0 at the CS2 Esports World Cup 2025 to claim the title, a result that only fuels the rivalry narrative between the squads.

For now, the “B-Tier” banter seems set to remain a running joke rather than a genuine source of tension.

The Counter-Strike 2 esports scene has exploded with controversy after claims surfaced that ESL is pushing teams to boycott PGL Bucharest. According to a report from CS2 News, ESL allegedly told squads competing at IEM Chengdu they must reject Bucharest invites, or risk being banned from IEM Krakow.

Our reliable source told us that ESL are taking measures to force teams to boycott PGL: they notified all the participating IEM Chengdu teams that they must not accept PGL Bucharest invites; if they do, they will be banned from IEM Krakow.

IEM Chengdu begins just a day after… pic.twitter.com/luUQa8uTIB

— CS2 NEWS (@CS2News_EN) September 3, 2025

With Bucharest ending on a Sunday and Chengdu starting just one day later, at least eight teams were keen to try both events. Now, many fans fear ESL’s rules are less about scheduling headaches and more about shutting down their biggest rival.

Monopoly Move or Misunderstood Rule?

The accusation lit up Twitter and Reddit almost instantly. PGL CEO Silviu Stroie hit back hard, accusing ESL (and BLAST by extension) of deliberately scheduling against PGL despite knowing their dates well in advance. He described it as a “joint strategy” to maintain monopoly control of the CS2 circuit.

For anyone asking about Bucharest and Chengdu, we’ve announced our dates for events in 2025 and 2026 on March 31, 2024. Other TOs (bullying and threatening teams if they will participate in PGL events) announced their events on October 3, 2024 (fun fact: both of them on the same…

— Silviu Stroie (@ssilviu) September 3, 2025

But former ESL exec Luís Mira argued the situation isn’t as sinister. He clarified that if a team accepts an invite to Chengdu and then pulls out to play Bucharest, they face a one-event suspension under the ESL Pro Tour rules, with IEM Krakow being the unlucky next event. That’s not quite the same as an outright boycott order, though many fans aren’t convinced.

It then said that if a team withdraws from Chengdu after accepting an invite, it will be sanctioned with one ESL Pro Tour event ban. And yes, the event after that is IEM Krakow, but the situation is completely different from what is claimed here.

— Luís Mira (@luismmira) September 3, 2025

Fans Call ESL Out

Reaction across the community has been heated:

“Common ESL L,” one fan wrote, echoing the widespread frustration.

Others accused ESL of trying to corner the market while “pissing away millions” to outspend competitors.

Some pointed to Intel’s financial struggles, suggesting ESL is scrambling to secure dominance to keep key sponsors on board.

On the flip side, a few noted the practical nightmare of flying players across continents in less than 24 hours. Even with private jets, it’s hard to imagine teams being match-ready after Bucharest’s finals.

Could Valve Step In?

This feud cuts to the heart of a bigger problem in CS2 esports: overlapping events and tournament organisers playing tug-of-war with teams. Some fans are now calling on Valve to enforce an open circuit where squads aren’t pressured into picking sides.

Until then, both IEM Chengdu and PGL Bucharest remain on the calendar, but the shadow of a possible boycott hangs heavy. Whether this is ESL protecting its turf or just enforcing rules, the optics are messy, and fans are watching closely to see what happens next.

Talon Esports has been in the spotlight this week after a messy public dispute with an investor over a delayed loan repayment. What started as allegations of unpaid debt quickly escalated on social media, before ending with the Hong Kong-based organisation confirming that the full repayment has now been made.

Hey guys, I was advised not to speak on the issue any further, but for the record the interest payment was sent via bank transfer on Tuesday night in full, with the transfer confirmation shared immediately after at 10:22pm Tuesday evening HK time. Two additional confirmations…

— TALON | Sean Zhang (@SeanZha91508818) August 27, 2025

The loan dispute goes public

On August 25, an X user going by hedgedhog7 (later identified as Chris Evans, founder of Fisher8 Capital) claimed that Talon had borrowed $1 million USD back in June, with the agreement that it would be repaid within one to two weeks. While the principal was eventually paid back on August 22, Evans alleged that the $75,000 USD interest remained unpaid and that his messages to the organisation were being ignored.

yet to sight a transfer or transfer confirmation from @TALON_ESPORTS for the 75k they publicly tweeted they were going to send me in the Hong Kong morning

legally yes you do still owe me 75k as per our signed loan documents

He went further, accusing Talon of borrowing from others just to cover the initial repayment and suggested the organisation was facing financial struggles. His posts tagged Riot Games and told Talon co-founders Sean Zhang and Evilslug directly, sparking widespread speculation within the Valorant and wider esports community.

CEO responds to allegations

Talon’s CEO, Sean Zhang, responded on August 26, calling the situation a “simple matter of miscommunication” with the accounts team. According to Zhang, the repayment of the $1 million was processed without taking the interest into account.

Sean here, CEO of TALON. Just want to shed some light and clarify on a situation that has escalated on X via @hedgedhog7 , this was a simple matter of miscommunication with the accounts team on our end, they issued the $1 million back and didn’t take into account the interest.… pic.twitter.com/rVOxRloL2Y

“As CEO, I take full responsibility of the miscommunication and will investigate internally where the issue happened and resolve it,” he wrote. Zhang also stated that the interest payment would be wired out immediately once banks opened in Hong Kong.

He added that it was “unfortunate a tweet was put out in such a malicious fashion when this could have been resolved in a much more civilised manner.”

Talon releases official statement

On August 27, Talon Esports issued a wider statement addressing both the loan situation and concerns about the organisation’s financial stability. The post assured fans that all operations remain stable, while acknowledging delays in prize pool distribution.

The organisation confirmed that all outstanding payments to former players will be finalised by September 6, with current players’ payments completed by September 30. Talon stressed that all player salaries have been paid on time and that it is working with legal and financial advisors to tighten its processes.

“Our responsibility to our players, fans, partners, and the broader esports community is of utmost importance to us,” the statement read.

Interest repayment confirmed

By August 28, Zhang confirmed that the $75,000 interest had been wired in full and shared multiple screenshots of the bank transfer. Shortly after, Evans acknowledged receiving the funds, writing on X that the money would be donated as promised.

He signed off with a sharp warning: “Don’t lend money, don’t do business with Talon Esports and always have contracts.”

Where Talon stands now

While the repayment has now been settled, the public nature of the dispute raised questions around why one of Southeast Asia’s biggest esports organisations needed such a short-term loan in the first place.

Talon fields rosters in games like Valorant, League of Legends, and Dota 2, and has secured partnerships this year with the likes of ExitLag and Qatar Airways. Its Valorant team is currently competing for a spot at Champions, with a crucial match against Rex Regum Qeon in the VCT Pacific lower bracket final.

For now, Talon insists its financial operations are stable, but this incident is likely to stick in the memory of both fans and investors as the organisation continues its push on the global esports stage.

On August 23, Gaimin Gladiators released a formal statement confirming their withdrawal from TI 2025. The org said it came after “extensive discussions” with its Dota 2 roster and player representatives, and claimed the team had expressed a preference to compete independently rather than under the GG banner.

“Despite our best efforts, the team’s representatives communicated the players’ preference to compete independently,” GG explained. “Due to rules governing roster changes, we could not guarantee a stable or eligible lineup for this year’s TI. Under these circumstances, formally withdrawing was the only visible course of action.”

We know there’s been a lot of chatter around Gaimin Gladiators’ Dota 2 team and TI 2025. Things have escalated, and we know not everyone has the full picture…there are a lot of speculations going around, and us being bad guys…Trust me, this is not what we wanted, and we tried…

— GG | Nick Cuccovillo (@GGNickcvillo) August 23, 2025

GG co-founder and president Nick Cuccovillo also shared his own words on social media, saying things had “escalated” and that the organisation never wanted it to come to this point. He also mentioned legal constraints stopping them from saying more right now but promised a more transparent update when possible.

Quinn pushes back

Not long after, Gaimin Gladiators midlaner Quinn Callahan (better known in the scene as Quinn) posted his own thread, and it paints a very different picture.

According to Quinn, the players never requested to withdraw. In fact, he says they made it clear in writing that they were “ready, willing and able” to play under the Gaimin Gladiators name. The decision, he stressed, was made “unilaterally by Gaimin Gladiators.”

“There are some outstanding issues between us and Gaimin Gladiators that necessitated that we retain legal counsel,” Quinn explained. “That being said, the decision to withdraw from The International was made unilaterally by Gaimin Gladiators.”

This directly contradicts GG’s official statement and raises big questions about what really went down behind the scenes.

Former staff and community reactions

The situation has also caught the attention of former GG staff. @_JustCallMeCait, who previously worked with the organisation, responded to Nick’s post with scepticism:

I’m not going to lie Nick, something seems off here.

“Quinn is honest and wouldn’t lie about it,” Cait wrote, adding that the org’s recent roster drops already raised eyebrows. She urged GG to be upfront with fans: “That’s what they want, just honesty.”

The wider Dota community has been quick to side with the players. “We support you, not the org,” one fan wrote, while another highlighted just how crushing it must feel for players to lose their TI shot: “Every Dota pro player dreams to play at TI, and then the chance is taken away… must be so hard.”

Even Team Liquid coach William “Blitz” Lee chimed in, calling the situation “genuinely wtf” and one of the most shocking things he’s seen in Dota if the players’ version is true.

I have a lot of respect for GG and the players in it from all the battles but genuinely wtf. If the org forced this position this might be the most shocking thing I’ve ever seen in dota. Oh well it’s gotta now be OG? Kuro vs Notail coach edition

— William Blitz Lee (@Blitz_DotA) August 22, 2025

What happens next?

Regardless of which version is closer to the truth, the outcome remains the same: Gaimin Gladiators won’t be at TI 2025. That leaves Valve scrambling to fill the gap just days before the event kicks off.

Dota analyst Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen shared data on which teams are best positioned to step in. OG looks to be the favourite as the strongest Western Europe side that narrowly missed out on qualification, but other names like Yakult Brothers could also be in the running depending on roster stability and travel logistics.

The end of an era?

For Gaimin Gladiators, the withdrawal brings an abrupt halt to what had been a remarkable run at The International. The org finished second in both TI 2023 and TI 2024, pocketing nearly $800,000 across the two years and earning a reputation as one of the scene’s powerhouses.

Now, just as fans expected another deep run, the team finds itself sidelined entirely, and with both the players and the organisation pointing fingers at each other, the future of GG’s Dota division looks very uncertain.

For now, all eyes are on who replaces them at TI 2025, and whether Gaimin Gladiators can rebuild trust with fans after this public fallout.

After a wave of serious allegations hit the Tier 2 VALORANT scene in North America, including claims of cheating, match-fixing, and betting misconduct, Riot Games has completed an in-depth investigation and says it found no hard evidence to back any of it up.

In response to serious public allegations of cheating, match-fixing, and other misconduct within the VALORANT Challengers North America (NA) ecosystem, Riot Games conducted an investigation and extensive review that encompassed video footage, player interviews, internal system… pic.twitter.com/XQEE7uXrCO

— VALORANT Esports NA (@valesportsna) July 30, 2025

The claims surfaced earlier this year and caused quite a stir in the community, especially after former Shopify Rebellion GM Sean ‘sgares’ Gares raised concerns about underground gambling activity within the NA Challengers ecosystem. Riot responded quickly, launching an internal review with help from integrity partners like Sportradar, GRID, and the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).

Riot’s findings? Nothing that confirmed the rumours.

What Did Riot Actually Look Into?

The investigation wasn’t just a quick glance. Riot teams across Anti-Cheat, League Operations, and Broadcast Engineering reviewed gameplay footage, in-game data, player behaviour logs, account histories, and internal system records. They focused particularly on matches like Blue Otter vs. Shopify Rebellion, one that had drawn heavy suspicion online.

According to Riot, no signs of cheating or irregular activity were found in any of the matches they reviewed. Their integrity partners also analysed betting market data from across the 2025 NA Challengers League and didn’t find anything unusual there either.

Some screenshots of betting slips had been doing the rounds on social media, adding fuel to the fire. Riot’s investigation found that one of the most widely shared images wasn’t even connected to the Challengers league, it appeared to reference a completely different event.

Riot Employees Dragged Into It

Another layer of drama came when social media posts started speculating that Riot staff might be involved. These allegations, too, were looked into under Riot’s internal integrity protocols. Riot says no evidence of staff misconduct was found, and that some of the claims were later walked back by the people who made them.

In short: all smoke, no fire.

Not Everyone’s Convinced

The community is still split in spite of Riot’s announcement. Since they believe the results to be reliable, some players are pleased to learn that third-party experts were consulted. Some are more doubtful, asserting that Riot is merely shielding its own reputation and ignoring problems.

Concerns have also been raised over the process’s overall transparency. Some internet voices continue to advocate for more transparent communicatiImage Credit: Riot GamesImageon and even for the probe to be independently audited.

What Happens Now?

While Riot hasn’t issued any bans or penalties, they’ve made it clear they’ll keep watching closely. If new evidence turns up, the matter could be revisited.

The broader takeaway? Riot wants to maintain trust in VALORANT’s competitive scene. They’ve encouraged anyone with credible information to speak up and report issues through proper channels — and reminded players that false or exaggerated claims can also do real damage.

For now, the case is closed. But in a space as passionate and fast-moving as esports, especially in the sometimes chaotic Tier 2 scene, people will be keeping their eyes peeled for what happens next.
