<p>Amazon has just released an entirely new lineup of Kindle devices.</p>
<p>A reimagined Kindle Scribe, the fastest Kindle Paperwhite ever, a new entry Kindle in a fun, new Matcha colour, and the first-ever colour Kindle, coming in 2025.</p>
<p>“With summer just around the corner we know reading will be at all-time high, and our new Kindle lineup has something for everyone, no matter your reading style,” said Patrick Walker, Amazon Devices Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand. “We obsessed over every detail to deliver the best possible experience, and we know Kiwis will be excited by new features such as 25% faster page turns on the Kindle Paperwhite, a more dynamic and intuitive writing experience on the Kindle Scribe, and fun new colours across the range.”</p>
<p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62918" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Black-1.jpg?x59030" alt="Kindle (Black)" width="1280" height="1280" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Black-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Black-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Black-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Black-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Black-1-125x125.jpg 125w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>Since its debut in 2012, customers have made Kindle Paperwhite their best-selling Kindle and the all-new Kindle Paperwhite is the fastest yet. Scrolling through your Kindle Library or Store is snappy and responsive, with 25% faster page turns. The display uses an oxide thin film transistor which gives it the highest contrast ratio of any Kindle Paperwhite, so text and images pop off the screen. A larger, seven-inch display is a first for Kindle Paperwhite, and yet it is also the thinnest Paperwhite ever with up to three months of battery life.</p>
<p>Kindle Paperwhite is waterproof with 16GB of storage for thousands of books, and comes in Black. Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, which comes with 32GB of storage, optional wireless charging, and auto-adjusting front light, is available in Metallic Jade and Metallic Black. Metallic Jade is only available online at Amazon.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62920" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Paperwhite-SE-Metallic-Jade-1.jpg?x59030" alt="Kindle Paperwhite SE Metallic Jade" width="1280" height="1280" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Paperwhite-SE-Metallic-Jade-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Paperwhite-SE-Metallic-Jade-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Paperwhite-SE-Metallic-Jade-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Paperwhite-SE-Metallic-Jade-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Paperwhite-SE-Metallic-Jade-1-125x125.jpg 125w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>Weighing in at just 158g, the new entry-level Kindle is small enough to fit in your hand or carry in your back pocket, and it’s packed with premium Kindle features. It has a 300ppi, glare-free display, now with faster page turns, higher contrast ratio, and a front light that is 25% brighter at max setting, as bright as Kindle Paperwhite.</p>
<p>It comes in black and a fun and fresh new Matcha colour, offers weeks of battery life from a single charge, and has 16GB of storage for holding thousands of books, all of which make it the ideal device for reading anywhere the day takes you.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62921" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Scribe-Metallic-Jade.jpg?x59030" alt="Kindle Scribe Metallic Jade" width="1280" height="1123" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Scribe-Metallic-Jade.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Scribe-Metallic-Jade-300x263.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Scribe-Metallic-Jade-768x674.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>The all-new Kindle Scribe combines all the benefits of Kindle with an innovative notetaking device. The 10.2 inch display has new uniform white borders and the screen has a smooth, paper-like texture that makes it look and feel like you’re writing on a sheet of paper. Plus, at 300ppi text looks crisp and clear when you’re writing or reading. The Premium Pen is finely crafted to deliver just the right heft and balance, so it feels like holding an actual pen, and the new soft-tipped eraser feels like a pencil.</p>
<p>The new Kindle Scribe offers a first-of-its-kind in-book writing experience. With Active Canvas, you can write your thoughts directly in the book when inspiration strikes. Your note becomes part of the page and the book text dynamically flows around it, if you increase the font size, change the font style, or the book layout changes, the note remains visible exactly where you want it so you never lose any meaning or context.</p>
<p>Pre-orders for the all-new Kindle Scribe start today, which comes in Tungsten and Metallic Jade colours. Devices will begin shipping from December 5th 2024, and Metallic Jade is only available online at Amazon.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-62919" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Colorsoft-1.jpg?x59030" alt="Kindle Colorsoft" width="1280" height="1280" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Colorsoft-1.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Colorsoft-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Colorsoft-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Colorsoft-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kindle-Colorsoft-1-125x125.jpg 125w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>The all-new Kindle Colorsoft brings colour to Kindle without compromise. It has everything customers love about Kindle today , with high contrast, fast page turns, an auto-adjusting front-light, and weeks of battery life. It adds colour that is vibrant yet easy on the eyes. Now you can browse covers in colour in your Kindle Library or Store; see book photos and images in colour; or add colour highlights that you can easily search later.</p>
<p>Everything about Kindle Colorsoft was meticulously designed to deliver rich, paper-like colour. It uses an oxide backplane with custom waveforms for fast performance and a higher contrast on both colour and black-and-white content. Its custom Colorsoft display includes a new light-guide with nitride LEDs that, when combined with our custom algorithms, enhances colour and increases brightness, all without washing details. You can zoom in on images without worrying about pixelating and you can choose between standard or vibrant colour styles. Kindle Colorsoft comes with wireless charging, up to 8 weeks of battery life, and is waterproof so you can bring it with you in the bath or take it to the beach without having to worry.</p>
<p>Kindle Colorsoft releases in 2025.</p>
<p>A number of new accessories are launching to accompany the new Kindle line-up, including a new Matcha fabric cover for the Kindle, and new fabric, plant-based leather and premium leather covers in a variety of colours for the new Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition and all-new Kindle Scribe.</p>
<p>The new Kindle devices and accessories are available now.</p>

<p>Get scribing with Amazon’s newest upsized Kindle.</p>
<p>Amazon has recently released the <em>Kindle Scribe</em>. A full sized 10.2 inch 300 ppi display eReader, with a difference.</p>
<p>With past Kindles you could always upload Word docs and PDFs as well as of course keep a large library of eBooks for reading on the go.</p>
<p>The <em>Kindle Scribe</em> takes this many steps further. Sure it’s an eBook reader with a matte anti-glare screen that also has non eye burning lighting options.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-59467" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Scribe" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>But now you can sync up text documents as you’re working on them and carry on editing and writing, or marking up via the <em>Kindle Scribe</em>.</p>
<p>There are two ways to do this. Either via the Kindle browser app, or using the Share function on the Kindle mobile app. Either way you can transfer wirelessly.</p>
<p>The <em>Kindle Scribe</em> is compatible with TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, PRC natively; PDF, DOCX, DOC, HTML, EPUB, TXT, RTF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP through conversion.</p>
<p>Lasso, convert handwritten to text, and integrate in to your Microsoft Word desktop app, if you have it, to keep you going from computer to <em>Kindle Scribe</em>. You can edit and write as you would on any PC or Mac based text editor.</p>
<p>There are two versions, one with a Basic Pen and the other has the Premium Pen.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-59470" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.02.38-PM.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Scribe" width="1280" height="1307" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.02.38-PM.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.02.38-PM-294x300.jpg 294w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.02.38-PM-1254x1280.jpg 1254w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.02.38-PM-768x784.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>What’s the difference? Asides from cost, the Premium Pen has an eraser (this is real handy) and a shortcut button.</p>
<p>If you’re looking at one of these my advice is go for the Premium option, that&#8217;s the one reviewed here. Using the <em>Kindle Scribe</em> for work I’ve used that eraser function a lot.</p>
<p>The <em>Kindle Scribe</em> model that we were sent for review is the 16GB version. So, that doesn’t sound like a lot of space, but let me assure you, it’s likely to be more than you’ll need.</p>
<p>Given most eBooks and documents range from a few kilobytes up to perhaps 1MB you’re going to get a massive library of great reads and editable docs stored on the tablet.</p>
<p>So your eyes don&#8217;t get burned out there are varying display modes and with VoiceView you can have the text read out for you, like an audio book.</p>
<p>Being that the <em>Kindle Scribe</em> is built for creating and working on documents the screen feels natural, like paper with the Pen being just as fluid and immediately responsive as a real ink pen.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-59471" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.50-PM.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Scribe" width="1280" height="819" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.50-PM.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.50-PM-300x192.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.50-PM-768x491.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.50-PM-100x65.jpg 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>You have differing levels of hardness when it comes to your digital ink and same goes for text options too.</p>
<p>Battery life is beyond amazing. If you give the <em>Kindle Scribe</em> a full charge up you can expect up to 12 weeks of average daily use. 12 weeks!</p>
<p>I’ve not had the <em>Scribe</em> for 12 weeks yet, but from the box I did a full charge up and two weeks on, the battery icon has not decreased.</p>
<p>I have been using the <em>Kindle Scribe</em> for editorial work, the stuff you read on this very website and of course reading books. My average is likely to be 4 hours per day, 7 days a week.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-59472" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.28-PM.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Scribe" width="1280" height="924" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.28-PM.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.28-PM-300x217.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screenshot-2023-08-01-at-4.03.28-PM-768x554.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>Both the tablet and pen have a natural hold feel with both being super light-weight. Weighing almost nothing actually.</p>
<p>There is a case you can get – this I would also recommend as it doubles as a stand and will magnetically hold your Pen as well.</p>
<p>Whether you’re a student, take notes in meetings, an aspiring novelist or you just like to kick back with a good read, <em>Kindle Scribe</em> is the all-rounder and covers all bases.</p>
<p>It is truly the best eReader with multi-functionality you can get right now.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Amazon has today announced Kindle Scribe, the next generation of Kindle that unites reading with writing, and is now available in New Zealand.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Kindle Scribe features the world’s first 10.2-inch, 300 pixels per inch (ppi), Paperwhite display, and an included pen that never needs charging. The premium, front-lit, and glare-free display feels like reading and writing on paper, with crisp text and ample space for larger fonts, images, charts, and documents.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Designed for reading and notetaking in millions of books, adding notes to documents, journaling, and more.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Kindle Scribe is the best Kindle we’ve ever built, creating a reading and writing experience that feels like real paper, and we’re thrilled to be launching it in New Zealand” said Patrick Walker, country manager of Amazon Devices, Australia and New Zealand. “It&#8217;s inspired by the Kindle customers who have added billions of notes and highlights to books over the years. It’s also ideal for reviewing and marking up documents, managing your to-do list, or doodling over a big idea. Plus, it offers all the benefits Kiwi customers know and love about Kindle – access to millions of books in the Kindle Store, adjustable fonts, premium reading features, and weeks and weeks of battery life, with the benefit of a beautiful, large display.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-58879" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-sticky-note-in-book2.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Scribe" width="1280" height="936" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-sticky-note-in-book2.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-sticky-note-in-book2-300x219.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-sticky-note-in-book2-768x562.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Just 5.8 mm thin, Kindle Scribe features the world’s first 10.2-inch, 300-ppi, glare-free display; an auto-adjusting front light; months of battery life; and a pen that never needs to be charged, making it an ideal, take-anywhere companion. The glare-free display has been engineered to replicate the feel and flow of pen on paper, creating a natural and comfortable experience. The large, high-resolution, Paperwhite display also provides ample room for reading and taking notes; enhances the beauty of images, illustrations, and graphics; and provides easy-to-adjust margins.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Kindle Scribe comes with a Basic or Premium pen option, with a number of different brush types. Both pens deliver incredible precision, feel natural in your hand, and magnetically attach to the side of the device. They also support a variety of line widths, a highlighter tool, eraser tools, and an undo tool, all easily accessible in the on-display writing menu. The Premium Pen also includes a dedicated eraser on top and a customisable shortcut button, enabling the pen to function as an eraser or highlighter, or to open a new sticky note when the button is pressed.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400; text-align: center;"></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Digital sticky notes on Kindle Scribe allow you to easily add handwritten notes to millions of books in the Kindle Store, with notes and highlights automatically organised in one place to keep pages clutter-free. You can also journal or take notes using a variety of templates, including to-do lists for tracking tasks and lined paper for meeting notes, all organised within folders of your choice.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">For ease of navigation, brand new features allow users to view nine notebook pages at once, with the ability to rearrange as you wish. For PDFs, customers can also now increase and decrease the contrast of their documents when reading and annotating. All notebooks are automatically saved and backed up to the cloud for free, and are accessible through the Kindle app.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">With the Send-to-Kindle feature, you can import personal documents from your computer or phone to Kindle Scribe and write directly on PDF documents. You can also import and create handwritten sticky notes in Microsoft Word documents, web articles, and other document formats with adjustable font sizes and layout.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-58880" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Scribe" width="1280" height="720" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Amazon-Kindle-Scribe-768x432.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">As with all Kindle e-readers, the new Kindle Scribe comes with instant access to the Kindle Store.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Perfect for working on-the-go, as part of a new update, Microsoft365 customers with a subscription will now be able to send documents directly to their Kindle library from the Microsoft Word desktop or browser app to read and review. With these new updates, this experience is the best yet, with customers able to add handwritten notes and highlights to their imported documents too.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Like every Kindle available today, the new Kindle Scribe lets you personalise your experience by adjusting the font size, brush types, line spacing, or switching to dark mode, and more recently, the ability for landscape reading with a two-column layout. In addition, with the large display of Kindle Scribe, customers reading with larger font sizes will see more text per page, and they can increase the size of items like the text on the home screen as well as book icons with the “large” mode setting.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-58878" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-fabric-cover-options.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Scribe" width="1280" height="1000" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-fabric-cover-options.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-fabric-cover-options-300x234.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Kindle-Scribe-fabric-cover-options-768x600.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Customers who read with assistive technology can use Amazon’s VoiceView screen reader to read English-language books on Kindle devices, including Kindle Scribe. Customers can also use operating system (OS)-level screen readers, such as TalkBack on Android or VoiceOver on iOS, to read with Kindle mobile apps. Kindle offers more than 12 million screen reader-supported books on Kindle devices and apps.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Designed with 100% recycled aluminum and 48% post-consumer recycled plastics in the device, Kindle Scribe was built with sustainability in mind.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Kindle Scribe is available in Tungsten with options for 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB of storage, Kindle Scribe comes with a battery-free Basic Pen or Premium Pen, which includes an eraser and customisable shortcut button. New leather, brush print leather, and fabric folio covers, which can be folded to support Kindle Scribe at different reading angles, will be available in a variety of colours.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Amazon has just announced the next generation of Kindle, their lightest and smallest.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The new Kindle delivers premium features at an affordable price, including a 300 ppi high-resolution 6-inch display, USB-C charging, longer battery life of up to six weeks, and room for thousands of books with twice the storage.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“The beauty of Kindle is its simplicity as a dedicated device for distraction-free reading; tune out messages, emails and social media and get lost in your story,” said Patrick Walker, Country Manager for Amazon Devices, ANZ. “With a high-resolution display that delivers three times more pixels than our previous base Kindle, USB-C charging, 16GB of storage, and built-in adjustable front light, the new ultralight Kindle is the latest example of how we continue to bring premium features to our entry-level devices for even more customers to enjoy.”</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-56796" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-Kindle-2022.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle 2022" width="1280" height="1284" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-Kindle-2022.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-Kindle-2022-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-Kindle-2022-1276x1280.jpg 1276w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-Kindle-2022-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-Kindle-2022-768x770.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-Kindle-2022-125x125.jpg 125w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Kindle features an all-new 15cm, glare-free, 300 ppi high-resolution display with three times more pixels for laser-quality text and sharp images that read like paper. Dark mode and adjustable front light provide a comfortable reading experience in all conditions, including bright sunlight or no light at all.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The device comes packed with customer favourites like X-Ray which provides important details about people or places mentioned in a book, and a built-in dictionary to quickly look up any word. Simplified setup on the Kindle app for iOS and Android offers an option to register your device in fewer steps and to jump into a book even faster.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-56795" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-eBook-Store.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon eBook Store" width="1280" height="966" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-eBook-Store.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-eBook-Store-300x226.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Amazon-eBook-Store-768x580.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Kindle is the lightest and most compact of the Kindle models available, carry it in your pocket, and comfortably read one-handed for even longer. Longer battery life of up to six weeks maximizes the time you can spend reading, and the USB-C port makes charging easier than ever. The all-new Kindle also comes with 16GB of storage, twice the storage of the previous generation, enough to hold thousands of titles so you can take your library with you.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">All Kindle devices come with instant access to the world’s best eBook store. Additionally, Prime members can read from a rotating selection of thousands of books, at no additional cost to their Prime membership.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The all-new Kindle has been designed with sustainability in mind and has been built with 90% recycled magnesium. In addition, Kindle accessory covers follow suit with packaging made from 99% wood fibre-based materials. Amazon continues its work to reduce impact on the planet through decreasing waste and providing more-sustainable options, with these efforts continuing through the release of the new Kindle.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The all-new Kindle will be available in Black or Denim colours. New fabric covers for Kindle will also be available in Black, Rose, Denim, and Dark Emerald.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Kindle pre-orders start today and will begin shipping October 12th, 2022.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s nothing quite like a bit of &#8216;me&#8217; time.</p>
<p>A moment to chill, lax out and do your fav thing. For me, believe it or not, is actually reading (true story) and I have a choc load of eBooks that I power through when i get the chance to do so.</p>
<p>One of my take everywhere devices has always been my now two years old <a href="https://www.shanethegamer.com/tech/tech-reviews/amazon-tech-reviews/amazon-kindle-oasis-review/">Amazon Kindle Oasis</a>.</p>
<p>Sure I have eReader apps on other smart devices, but if you&#8217;re after a good quiet uninterrupted down time with your fav book Kindles do exactly that. And only that.</p>
<p>No notifications, no sudden calls.</p>
<p>Now Amazon have released a new Kindle, <em>Paperwhite</em>.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-52592" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Paperwhite - 2021" width="1000" height="1000" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1.jpg 1000w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-125x125.jpg 125w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p>
<p>With a massive 6.8 inch glare-free screen with 300 ppi. What this essentially means is that it is super crispy clear.</p>
<p>The intuitive swipe menu&#8217;s enable you to access your library, purchase or preview new eBooks and when connected to the cloud the <em>Amazon</em> <em>Kindle</em> <em>Paperwhite</em> will remember where you left off, even if you were reading via the Kindle app on another device.</p>
<p>The <em>Kindle</em> <em>Paperwhite</em> has taken the shape more of a tablet. Thinner side bezels and lighter.</p>
<p>Comfortable to hold for extended periods its screen is adjustable from white through to a warmer more immersive glow.</p>
<p>The <em>Amazon Kindle Paperwhite</em> has 32GB storage.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-53865" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/85603.1.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Paperwhite" width="1500" height="844" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/85603.1.jpg 1500w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/85603.1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/85603.1-1280x720.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/85603.1-768x432.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></p>
<p>That&#8217;s way more than you&#8217;ll ever need. eBooks generally only have a data size of mere kbs, or the bigger ones maybe a couple of MBs.</p>
<p>So you&#8217;re likely to cram literally ten&#8217;s of thousands of eBooks on to your <em>Paperwhite</em>.</p>
<p>The best bit is the battery.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re going to get up to 10 weeks of battery life, if used a couple of hours a day. Amazon have replaced the microUSB port for charging that we have seen in prior models and replaced with a more universal USB-C or you can wirelessly charge.</p>
<p>Charging time from totally flat is a bit long though. 5 hours on a standard USB 3.0 port or adapter. You can halve that with a more powerful adaptor though. Amazon state that using a 9 watt charger reduces the overall charging time by half.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"></p>
<p>The <em>Amazon</em> <em>Kindle</em> <em>Paperwhite</em> is also waterproof (fresh water). Perfect for those long reads in the pool over this summery festive season down under.</p>
<p>If it gets wet or submerged it can survive for up to 1 hour (fresh water).</p>
<p>But Amazon didn&#8217;t stop their accident proofing there either. While I strongly recommend it, the <em>Kindle</em> <em>Paperwhite</em> can also handle a wee bit of seawater, but only, really a splash.</p>
<p>Amazon Kindles are compatible with all known eBook and document types. From MOBI, to PDF and DOC so there&#8217;s pretty much nothing you can&#8217;t read.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-53864" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/kpw4-.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Paperwhite" width="1000" height="1000" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/kpw4-.jpg 1000w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/kpw4--300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/kpw4--150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/kpw4--768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/kpw4--125x125.jpg 125w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p>
<p>The Amazon Bookstore is right there, providing you have a Wifi connection.</p>
<p>Being a black and white screen and interface is fine for general eBooks, but my hope for the future of Kindles is a colour one so I can read comics.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s not going to bother you if you&#8217;re looking forward to the Xmas break and settling in with a scary, drama-filled, autobiography or saucy novel though.</p>
<p>Priced right at around $200 the <em>Amazon Kindle Paperwhite</em> is a sure and less expensive gift for a loved one or for yourself.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"></p>

<p>Amazon has just released details on their next generation of Kindle Paperwhite with two new models:, Kindle Paperwhite, and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition.</p>
<p>For years, Kindle Paperwhite has been the most popular Kindle, and the new generation combines premium hardware, faster performance, and a redesigned user interface for a more enjoyable reading experience.</p>
<p>The Kindle Paperwhite comes with a larger display, a new adjustable warm light, and increased battery life, while the new Signature Edition adds an auto-adjusting light sensor and is the first-ever Kindle to offer wireless charging.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-52592" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Paperwhite - 2021" width="1000" height="1000" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1.jpg 1000w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/MAIN-C1-1000x1000-1-125x125.jpg 125w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p>
<p>“Kiwis love Kindle and have continued to escape into stories on generations of devices, more so as we’ve all been spending more time at home,” said Patrick Walker, Amazon Devices Country Manager ANZ. “The new Kindle Paperwhite devices deliver a more premium experience for Kindle-lovers and new readers alike, with a warm light and larger display for even more comfort, 20 percent faster page turns, and up to 10 weeks of battery life, all in a compact, waterproof design that makes it easy to enjoy a book anywhere, day or night. Now more than ever, it’s delightful to get lost in millions of books wherever you go.&#8221;</p>
<p>The all-new Kindle Paperwhite combines a larger 6.8-inch display, the largest ever on a Kindle Paperwhite, with smaller 10.2mm bezels on a sleek, flush-front design.</p>
<p>Plus, the 300 ppi Paperwhite display is glare free, delivers laser-quality text, and resembles real paper for easy reading in all conditions, even direct sunlight. The display offers an additional 10% brightness at the maximum setting to ensure reading is more comfortable on the eyes, and the adjustable warm light and a white-on-black dark mode offer flexibility for reading any time, day or night.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"></p>
<p>Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition also comes with an auto- adjusting front light that automatically adapts the brightness of the display based on the lighting around you so you can comfortably read in all conditions.</p>
<p>Kindle devices last weeks on a single charge, so you can enjoy your book without the worry of finding a power outlet. The all-new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition offer up to 10 weeks of battery life, the longest of any Kindle Paperwhite yet.</p>
<p>To help maximize reading time, fast USB-C charging takes only 2.5 hours to reach a full charge time when using a 9W adapter or larger. Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is the first Kindle to offer wireless charging and can be used with any compatible Qi wireless charger (sold separately).</p>
<p>With an IPx8 rating, the all-new Kindle Paperwhite is designed to withstand accidental drops in the bathtub, pool, and ocean, meaning you can take it almost anywhere you want to read.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-52594" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/wireless_charge.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Paperwhite - 2021" width="1630" height="920" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/wireless_charge.jpg 1630w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/wireless_charge-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/wireless_charge-1280x722.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/wireless_charge-768x433.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/wireless_charge-1536x867.jpg 1536w" sizes="(max-width: 1630px) 100vw, 1630px" /></p>
<p>Plus, the 8 GB standard storage on Kindle Paperwhite, and 32 GB of storage on the Signature Edition means more books in more places – store thousands of titles, then take them all with you.</p>
<p>Kindle Paperwhite comes with a completely redesigned Kindle interface, adding several new features for an easier and more intuitive experience from the moment you pick up your device to start reading. The updated Kindle experience provides an easy way to switch between the home screen, your library, or your current book, while a new library experience includes new filters and sort menus, a new collections view, and an interactive scroll bar.</p>
<p>A new option to get started is simplified setup on the Kindle app for iOS and Android—just pair your device to your phone so you can set up in fewer steps. Settings are accessible in one swipe from wherever you are in your device, making it quick and easy to adjust features such as screen brightness, or turn on airplane or dark mode, without losing your place.</p>
<p>These new software features will roll out through the end of the year.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-52591" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/covers.jpg?x59030" alt="Amazon Kindle Paperwhite - 2021" width="1769" height="1108" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/covers.jpg 1769w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/covers-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/covers-1280x802.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/covers-768x481.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/covers-1536x962.jpg 1536w" sizes="(max-width: 1769px) 100vw, 1769px" /></p>
<p>By design, the all-new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition have been purpose-built to help you get lost in your favourite book. Unlike mobile phones and tablets, Kindle has no glare and won’t distract you with social media, emails, text messages, or notifications. The all-new Kindle Paperwhite includes features that have long made the Kindle family the best devices for reading, enhancing the experience beyond a print book.</p>
<p>The all-new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition were designed with sustainability in mind. Both are built with 60 percent post-consumer recycled plastics and 70 percent recycled die-cast magnesium.</p>
<p>Plus, 95 percent of this device’s packaging is made of wood fiber-based materials from responsibly managed forests or recycled sources.</p>
<p>The all-new Kindle Paperwhite is available in 8 GB in Black. The new Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is in 32 GB, also in Black.</p>
<p>New leather and fabric covers for the all-new Kindle Paperwhite will be available in Black, Deep Sea Blue, and Lavender Haze.</p>
<p>Both devices are available for pre-order from today (September 22, 2021) via JB Hi-Fi, with further details on local retail partners coming soon.</p>

<p>Manga fans can now read Kodansha Comics &amp; VERTICAL manga on Nintendo Switch with InkyPen, an all-you-can-read subscription service.</p>
<p>InkyPen has joined forces with Kodansha USA Publishing, purveyors of some of the world’s most recognized manga properties to its subscription catalog.</p>
<p>Kodansha USA Publishing houses world famous manga titles such as Attack on Titan, Parasyte, Battle Angel Alita, FAIRY TAIL and much, much more. All of which are available immediately on InkyPen, with new releases to be added regularly.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-44362" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/KodanshaBanner.jpg?x59030" alt="Inky Pen on Nintendo Switch" width="1500" height="500" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/KodanshaBanner.jpg 1500w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/KodanshaBanner-300x100.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/KodanshaBanner-1024x341.jpg 1024w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/KodanshaBanner-768x256.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px" /></p>
<p>InkyPen launched in December 2018 as one of the few apps on the Nintendo eShop launching soon after YouTube and Hulu. With a diverse range of comics from top publishers such as IDW, Dark Horse, Archie Comics and Valiant.<br />
However while InkyPen had a strong catalog with hundreds of series and over 10,000 comics, manga was not among the list and quickly became the top requested addition from the community.</p>
<p>“Our readers wanted manga and we listened and there’s simply no bigger and better manga publisher than Kodansha.” says Ronan Huggard, InkyPen CEO.</p>
<p>“We’re thrilled to further bring the Kodansha Comics &amp; VERTICAL library into the digital space through InkyPen’s digital subscriptions service,” said Alvin Lu, Kodansha USA Publishing President and CEO. “We’re excited for not only InkyPen readers, but also Nintendo Switch users to have easy access to a growing number of Kodansha USA Publishing titles through this all-you-can-read service.”</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-44361" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Inky-Pen-on-Nintendo-Switch.jpg?x59030" alt="Inky Pen on Nintendo Switch" width="1920" height="1344" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Inky-Pen-on-Nintendo-Switch.jpg 1920w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Inky-Pen-on-Nintendo-Switch-300x210.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Inky-Pen-on-Nintendo-Switch-1024x717.jpg 1024w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Inky-Pen-on-Nintendo-Switch-768x538.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Inky-Pen-on-Nintendo-Switch-1536x1075.jpg 1536w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p>Now for the first time, popular comics such as Archie, Locke &amp; Key, Hellboy and Bloodshot, can be found amongst the likes of fan-favorite manga titles such as Attack on Titan and Fire Force on a purely all-you-can-read service.</p>
<p>Whether you’re jumping back in for manga, or just now hearing of InkyPen, it’s an exciting time to check it out. The App is free to download from the Nintendo eShop and has a variety of free comics to read, with all-you-can-read comics and manga for $7.99USD a month.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">There’s no denying that Amazon is one large business.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">From cloud servers, shopping sites and my favourite A.I. Assistant; Alexa.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">But Amazon as we know it now did not start out that way.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A young Jeff Bezos began a small website in 1994 selling books and in the very beginning used to deliver them on his bike.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">As time passed books transcended to digital and Amazon grew to what it is now.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The initial release of 2007’s Amazon Kindle was a predictable leap for the company as they adapted from hard and paper back to eBooks.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-41224" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/2019-06-19-product-2.jpg?x59030" alt="Kindle Oasis" width="2556" height="2873" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/2019-06-19-product-2.jpg 2556w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/2019-06-19-product-2-267x300.jpg 267w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/2019-06-19-product-2-768x863.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/2019-06-19-product-2-911x1024.jpg 911w" sizes="(max-width: 2556px) 100vw, 2556px" /></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Forward to now and Amazon have recently released their newest <em>Oasis</em>.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Boasting a 32GB storage and a battery can last up to 6 weeks.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The <em>Kindle Oasis</em> has a raised rear-side for easier holding, the ridge allows you to grip the Kindle in one hand super comfortably and tight whether you are left or right handed and it is here that I’ll mention how light the <em>Oasis Kindle</em> is. Feather light infact.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">There are three tactile buttons on the device. To one side of the near to 7 inch black and white screen is a thick border, here is the added addition of page turn buttons, and the third is the Power / Sleep. The <em>Kindle Oasis</em> also has Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">WiFi enabled the <em>Kindle Oasis</em> connects directly to the Amazon Bookstore so you can immediately download any pre-existing library that you may already own and add to the library by buying or previewing eBooks from the store.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-41226" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/6356772cv11d.jpg?x59030" alt="Kindle Oasis" width="1280" height="1147" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/6356772cv11d.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/6356772cv11d-300x269.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/6356772cv11d-768x688.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/6356772cv11d-1024x918.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">If you have eBooks from differing devices; iOS or Android, Amazon make it super easy to convert these and add them in too.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">You do need to download a epub to mobi conversion application for Windows 10 or OSX (Mac) from the official Amazon website. Conversion process once installed is super simplistic and will send the converted eBook or manuscript directly to your Kindle Library.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Easy as.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Differing lighting options including auto-adjust will aide you in your reading habits, so to make it not too dark, not too bright, but just right and with a warming effect.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-41227" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kindleoasis2019.0.jpg?x59030" alt="Kindle Oasis" width="1200" height="800" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kindleoasis2019.0.jpg 1200w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kindleoasis2019.0-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kindleoasis2019.0-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kindleoasis2019.0-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kindleoasis2019.0-360x240.jpg 360w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/kindleoasis2019.0-600x400.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The Kindle is pure Amazon roots. Transforming the way we consumed literature from lugging piles of books and manuals about to having an entire library on a device.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Sure you already own a smartdevice which enables you to read eBooks, I do too. And, admittedly I had previously quizzed why one would need a Kindle, when you can have a smartphone with a Kindle App or use the native-to-device eReader.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">It wasn’t until I began using the <em>Oasis</em> with it’s remarkable battery life and no fuss use. <em>Kindle Oasis</em> is an eReader – that’s it. There’s no fluffing about finding the App among an array of others, there’s no distractions from notifications.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">It’s purely just you within your own <em>Oasis</em>.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"></span></p>
