A Thumbs-Up Counted as Illegal Communication

Under Valve sanctioned event rules, coaches may only communicate with players during tactical timeouts and halftime breaks, and the restriction extends to non-verbal gestures. adrrr’s thumbs-up to dumau came after the end of a tactical timeout, which classified it as illegal non-verbal coach-to-player communication and triggered his third and final infraction. adrrr admitted he slipped up in the heat of the moment.
