BLAST has unveiled the full list of invited teams for BLAST Rivals: Hong Kong 2025, confirming eight world-class Counter-Strike 2 squads that will battle it out for a $350,000 prize pool this November.

Set to take place from November 12 to 16 at the AsiaWorld Arena in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong, this event marks the final stop on the 2025 BLAST Premier calendar, and the last major before the StarLadder Budapest Major later in the month.

The VRS Invited Teams

Four of the world’s best teams have earned their spots through BLAST’s Global VRS standings: Team Vitality, Team Spirit, The MongolZ, and FURIA.

Vitality have been a powerhouse throughout 2025, winning the BLAST Rivals trophy earlier this year in Copenhagen. After a quieter few months, the French organisation will be looking to close the year on a high.

Team Spirit, featuring breakout star donk alongside sh1ro, have remained a constant threat all season long. The MongolZ continue to impress with their fearless and aggressive playstyle, while FURIA enter the event fresh off their breakthrough win at FISSURE Playground 2, proving they can stand among the elite.

These four squads are coming into Hong Kong as favourites, but they won’t have an easy path to the title.

The Wildcard Invites

Joining the fray are four wildcard teams from around the globe: Team Falcons (Europe), Passion UA (North America), paiN Gaming (South America), and TYLOO (Asia).

Falcons bring serious firepower with NiKo, m0NESY, and kyousuke, a trio still searching for their first trophy together. Passion UA, made up of Complexity’s former core, have found new life under their Ukrainian banner and look ready to make a statement.

From South America, paiN Gaming continue their strong form, currently sitting just behind FURIA in regional rankings. Meanwhile, TYLOO will carry Asia’s hopes as the top non-VRS team in their region, returning to international competition with renewed confidence.

Format and Details

The eight teams will be split into two double-elimination groups, followed by single-elimination playoffs leading to a best-of-five grand final.

As the last Tier 1 event before the Major, BLAST Rivals: Hong Kong 2025 will serve as the perfect proving ground for teams aiming to fine-tune their form before the year’s biggest stage.
