Palworld: How to Reach Feybreak Island and Dodge Its Anti-Air Turrets

Palworld’s long-awaited 1.0 launch on July 10, 2026 has sent a fresh wave of trainers and returning survivalists back into the Palpagos Islands, and one of the toughest destinations they’re rediscovering is Feybreak Island. Tucked in the far southwest corner of the map, the region remains an endgame gauntlet built around a brutal anti-air defence system that punishes anyone careless enough to fly straight in.

Feybreak was never part of Palworld’s original map. Pocketpair’s official Palworld account announced the island would arrive on December 23 alongside new Pals, weapons, buildings, mechanics and a new faction leader, describing it as a new island six times bigger than the previous Sakurajima update. Guide outlet xgamingserver later confirmed the update carried the version number 0.4.11.0, noting Feybreak is the endgame island Palworld added in the Feybreak Update, released on December 23, 2024.

Finding Feybreak Island on the Palpagos Map

According to Palworld’s community-run Fandom wiki, Feybreak is a region in Palworld, with Feybreak Island located in the far southwest corner of the Palpagos Islands, under Mount Obsidian. The wiki adds that the easiest way to get there is to travel using a flying or swimming Pal from the Fisherman’s Point waypoint to the Scorched Ashland waypoint.

Game8’s guide backs up the same route, confirming that players can fast-travel to Fisherman’s Point and use a swimming Pal to reach Feybreak Island, though it is recommended to head to the Scorched Ashland fast travel point first as it is the closest. Neither guide recommends walking there — there is no land bridge, so a mount capable of crossing open water is mandatory before setting off.

Watch the Skies: Feybreak’s 22 Anti-Air Turrets

The island’s real obstacle isn’t the journey — it’s the welcome party. Feybreak is patrolled by a hostile human faction called the Feybreak Warriors, and the Fandom wiki notes the island is dominated by Feybreak Warriors, whose faction uses anti-air missile turrets that will shoot down a flying Pal if the player is mounted. The wiki puts the exact defensive network at 22 anti-air missile turrets scattered across the landmass.

Game8’s breakdown adds specifics on how the lock-on works, explaining that Feybreak Island is considered an anti-air zone, with flying Pals shot as soon as turrets lock on, and the turrets have a range of about 500 meters, continuing to lock on until the player dismounts or moves out of range. xgamingserver’s guide confirms the same distance and offers the workaround: the Feybreak Warriors’ missile turrets lock onto mounted flying Pals within roughly 500 meters and shoot them down, but once turrets are disabled by hacking their consoles, flight becomes safe permanently, as disabled turrets do not reactivate. The safest approach, all three guides agree, is to arrive on a ground or swimming Pal and knock the towers out one by one before ever taking to the air.

What Level Should You Be Before Landing on Feybreak?

Feybreak was built as a late-game challenge, and the guides are consistent on the gear check. The Fandom wiki advises it’s recommended to be at least level 50 before attempting to get to the island, while xgamingserver notes the update itself raised the ceiling players would need to hit, confirming Feybreak raised the player level cap to 60, with the new gear gated behind those higher levels.

The payoff for surviving matches the risk. xgamingserver describes Feybreak as a hostile, glowing-sand landmass crawling with a new human faction, a 12-strong roster of fresh Pals, world-spanning Predator Pals, a mechanical-dragon raid boss, and a new tier of gear that pushes the level cap to 60. Those Predator Pals aren’t confined to the island either — the same guide clarifies Predator Pals are one of the biggest systems the update introduced, and they are not exclusive to Feybreak, with vicious Predator variants now appearing throughout the whole world at set spawn locations, with the guide’s catalogue counting 32 Predator Pals in total, eight of which appear only at night.

Why Feybreak Matters Again After Palworld’s 1.0 Launch

Palworld’s exit from Early Access has made old endgame content newly relevant. Push Square reported that after a prolonged period in early access development, Palworld arrived at its full 1.0 launch on July 10, 2026, having been playable on PS5 since September 2024 but now updated to its complete form. The same outlet noted the update introduces a brand new region, Sunreach, an archipelago of floating islands, alongside dozens of additional Pals, meaning Feybreak is now a mid-game stepping stone rather than the absolute end of the road.

Existing save files are safe, but Pocketpair has nudged veterans toward a clean slate for the milestone update. Guide site games.gg reported that the 1.0 update will not wipe existing save data, so current worlds and Pals carry over, though Pocketpair has advised players to start a fresh save to get the full 1.0 experience. For anyone starting over, Feybreak’s anti-air gauntlet is likely to be one of the first real walls new saves hit on the way to the level-60 gear that unlocks Hexolite weapons and armour — so packing a ground mount before crossing the water from Fisherman’s Point is still the smartest first move on the island.
