Switch 2 eShop Charts: Moonlight Peaks Hits #1, Digimon and Granblue Debut
Moonlight Peaks, the gothic vampire life-sim from Dutch studio Little Chicken Game Company, has claimed the top spot on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop’s all-games chart for the week of July 12, 2026, unseating Star Fox after two weeks at number one. The weekly rankings, tallied by Nintendo Everything and cross-tracked by GoNintendo, also mark the chart debuts of Bandai Namco’s Digimon Story: Time Stranger and Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, both of which launched on Switch and Switch 2 earlier in the week.
Moonlight Peaks Knocks Star Fox Off the Top Spot
According to Nintendo Everything’s tally of the eShop’s revenue-based rankings, Moonlight Peaks is the new #1 this time around, having managed to beat out the competition, including Star Fox. It’s a notable reversal: just a week earlier, on the July 5, 2026 chart, Star Fox was on top for the second week in a row, with games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Zelda: Breath of the Wild not far behind due to ongoing sales, while Moonlight Peaks itself only sat at sixth.
Moonlight Peaks launched on July 7, 2026 across Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Google Play Games, according to a launch announcement from XSEED Games, the publishing arm of Marvelous USA. The studio’s official product description casts players as the grown child of Count Dracula, and promises life as a vampire in a magical town full of werewolves, witches, mermaids, and more, where players raise mystical crops, learn spell-casting and potion-making, and befriend – or even romance – the locals. The Switch 2 Edition retails for $39.99, while the game is priced at $34.99 on all other platforms, per the official press release, with a launch discount running through July 13.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger Debuts With Three Chart Entries
Bandai Namco’s Digimon Story: Time Stranger made an immediate impact on its first week of eligibility. Nintendo Everything reports that for new games, Digimon Story: Time Stranger appears for the first time with two entries in the top five and three overall, with its Ultimate Edition sitting at third and the standard edition at fourth, just behind Star Fox and ahead of Mario Kart World.
The RPG launched on both Switch platforms on July 10, 2026. Per Bandai Namco’s own overview, distributed via outlets including Pure Nintendo and Gaming Age, players will find themselves thrown into a world where both the human and the Digital World are on the precipice of ruin, working with over 450 Digimon with non-linear evolution paths to succeed in the game’s strategic, turn-based combat. Nintendo Switch 2 owners get an added technical option, as Nintendo Switch 2 players can also choose their preferred graphics mode. File-size trackers put the Switch 2 install at a comparatively modest 15.8GB.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok Claims Two Top-10 Slots
Cygames’ action-RPG expansion also broke into the upper chart, landing at both seventh and ninth place on the July 12 list. Nintendo Everything notes that Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok also gets two spots in the top ten, a strong showing for content that, as Pure Nintendo points out, originally hails from other platforms, first debuting in 2024, and it’s fantastic to see it appearing on the Switch 2 now.
The Endless Ragnarok content adds substantial new material on top of the base game. Per the official Nintendo Download rundown, Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, letting players explore floating islands, battle massive enemies, and team up with up to four players in local or online multiplayer. It’s also the heaviest download of the week among the new arrivals, with file-size listings putting it at roughly 39GB on Switch 2 — more than double the size of Digimon Story: Time Stranger.
