XQC Trolled by Poker Legend Doug Polk over Poker Outfit

xQc has built an empire on slots and casino streams, but sit him down at a real poker table with actual professionals and the dynamic flips fast. In a clip now doing the rounds, poker legend Doug Polk, a three-time WSOP bracelet winner, took one look at the streamer and started trolling him over his poker outfit. You can watch the moment in the clip on xQc’s Kick channel, which blew up on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit.
Who xQc was sitting with
This was not a friendly home game. The table put xQc across from some of the most recognisable names in high-stakes poker. Doug Polk is one of the best heads-up no-limit players the game has ever produced and owns three WSOP bracelets, and he has spent years as poker’s sharpest online personality and needler. Also in the mix was Tom Dwan, the “durrrr” legend whose televised cash-game runs made him a millionaire many times over and a cult figure for a whole generation of players.
Dropping a slots streamer into that lineup was always going to produce content, and Polk did not need long to find his angle: xQc’s outfit.
The outfit troll
Rather than go after xQc’s play, Polk went after his look, ribbing the streamer over what he had shown up wearing to a serious poker game. It is a very Doug Polk move. His whole brand is the deadpan needle, and xQc, a streamer who thrives on chaos and reactions, is the perfect target.
He has pulled the shades trick before
xQc showing up to a poker table in reflective sunglasses is not new. Back in 2022, his mirrored-shades look at the felt got enough attention that outlets like Dexerto wrote it up, and he has leaned into the bit ever since as part of his chaotic-poker persona. Fast forward to now, an even louder outfit and the same glasses, and Polk needling him over it was almost inevitable.

Streamers keep pulling up to the felt
xQc is just the latest creator to cross over into high-stakes poker. Shows in the Hustler Casino Live mould have been stacking tables with a blend of pros like Tom Dwan and Phil Hellmuth and internet names such as MrBeast, Ninja, Ludwig and Alex Botez. It is great for poker, which gets a firehose of new eyeballs, and great for the streamers, who get to test themselves against the best while their audiences watch them squirm. For xQc specifically, whose gambling content has made him one of the most-watched and most-debated figures on Kick, a night getting roasted by a poker pro is basically ideal programming.
What Reddit made of it
The clip’s comment section barely talked about the outfit. Instead it splintered into a very poker argument over whether calling Polk a “3x WSOP champ” oversells it. “Doug Polk has three bracelets in the WSOP, which is impressive but pretty different than 3x champ of the main event as the title implies,” one user argued. The poker crowd was not having it: “Any poker player knows WSOP championship count means bracelet count,” another shot back, while a third put it bluntly, “guess what the bracelets say, I’m giving you a hint it’s 4 letters.” Elsewhere, the table’s other big name drew the usual reaction, with one commenter noting “Tom Dwan looks like the seediest mofo.” Either way, the man has the bracelets, and xQc has the outfit reviews to prove he sat at the table.
