Valorant Champions 2026 Bundle Revealed, Frag or Die Phantom and Fan Knife

A Phantom that changes colour with your side of the map and a melee that opens into a traditional Chinese folding fan lead the Valorant Champions 2026 bundle, Frag or Die. Riot Games showed both skins in a reveal trailer on 17 September, and the collection lands in the in-game shop on 22 September, two days before Champions Shanghai begins on 24 September
Riot hasn’t announced a price yet. The trailer, made with Moog Studio, also shows a gun buddy and a finisher, and like previous Champions collections, the bundle is a limited-time release with a share of sales going to VCT partner teams. It arrived a day after this year’s Champions anthem, “If the Sun Burns Out Tonight”, and borrows that video’s rivalry between Sage and Viper as its theme.
Champions 2026 Phantom and Fan Knife Variants
Both weapon skins carry what Riot calls a dynamic side-swap effect. In the trailer, the pearl white version appears on the defending side and the onyx black version on the attacking side, so the skin changes at half time without you touching the collection menu.
| Item | White variant (defence) | Black variant (attack) |
|---|---|---|
| Phantom | Pearl white with silver and cream gold details, plus a black panel where a gold pattern spreads across the gun after each kill | Black with silver and gold details, with a glowing red pattern that spreads across the gun after each kill |
| Melee | Pearl white and gold | Black and gold |
| Gun buddy | White and gold dragon | Black and gold snake |
| Champions aura | Gold | Red |
The Phantom continues Riot’s habit of alternating rifles between Champions bundles. Last year’s Champions Paris collection carried a Vandal, so this year it’s the Phantom’s turn.

The melee starts as a reverse-grip, karambit-style blade marked with the VCT logo.

Inspect it and the blade opens into a folding fan, and your agent starts fanning themselves, with each waft timed to the beat of the anthem.

The side-swap means every buyer gets both colourways in every match rather than picking one, which adds real value to a collection whose other items are still under wraps.
Finisher, Gun Buddy, and Champions Aura
The finisher, which plays when the skin lands the final kill of a round, sets off an explosion that leaves a floating Champions trophy between Sage and Viper, with the lower agent shooting up at the one above.

In one version Viper sits at the bottom, wrapped by a red and black snake with glowing eyes, while Sage floats above inside a white and gold dragon. The other version swaps their positions, and the finisher’s palette follows whichever Phantom variant is active. The kill banner also appears to shift colour with the variant.

The Champions aura returns as well. In past Champions bundles, it glowed only for the player sitting at the top of the scoreboard, making it the collection’s top-frag marker.
Champions 2026 Bundle Price and Release Date
The bundle goes on sale on 22 September, the same day Valorant patch 13.06 goes live. Riot hasn’t confirmed the price, but previous Champions bundles have sat around 6,100 to 6,200 VP. Standalone items from earlier collections have cost about 2,675 VP for the Phantom or Vandal and about 5,300 VP for the melee, and players will again be able to buy the Phantom or the fan knife on its own instead of the full set.
Riot also hasn’t said whether player cards or a spray will round out the collection, both of which have featured in past Champions bundles.
