Both discounts sit among dozens of active markdowns currently running on Nintendo’s American storefront, spanning everything from indie darlings to full-priced RPGs, with several other games also matching or beating their previous best prices.

Front Mission 1st: Remake Falls to $3.49, a 90% Cut

Deku Deals lists FRONT MISSION 1st: Remake at $34.99 down to $3.49, a 90% discount marked as the lowest price ever, with the sale set to run until September 3. GG.deals independently confirms the same figure, noting that the game’s historical low of $3.49 from the Nintendo eShop is currently active.

Developed and published by Forever Entertainment, FRONT MISSION 1st: Remake rebuilds the 1995 tactical RPG that kicked off Square’s long-running mech-combat series, with turn-based squad battles built around customisable Wanzer war machines. Its sequel, FRONT MISSION 2: Remake, is also discounted right now; GG.deals has it listed at $17.49, a 50% cut from Nintendo eShop, which the tracker describes as the lowest ever price right now for that entry.

A third entry, FRONT MISSION 3: Remake, released via Forever Entertainment as recently as January this year, rounding out a trilogy of remakes that has been steadily reintroducing the series to Switch owners who may have missed the originals on PlayStation and Super Famicom decades ago.

New Super Lucky’s Tale Drops to $4.49

The Playful-developed 3D platformer follows the fox hero Lucky through the Book of Ages, chasing pages stolen by the villainous Kitty Litter family, and originally launched on Switch back in 2020 as an expanded remaster of the earlier Super Lucky’s Tale.

The game holds solid marks with critics; OpenCritic gave the title a “Strong” rating, with a 78 Top Critic Average and 79% of critics praising the game, making the current discount a notably cheap entry point for newcomers to the platforming genre on Switch.

SteamWorld Heist II, Planet of Lana and More Also at All-Time Lows

The Front Mission and Lucky’s Tale cuts aren’t isolated. Per the same Deku Deals tracking, SteamWorld Heist II is down from $29.99 to $7.49, a 75% cut also marked as a new lowest price ever, while Planet of Lana has fallen from $19.99 to $4.99, another 75% reduction hitting a historical low.
