Redneck Simulator Steam Page Goes Live From Ambercoil Games and GameHunters

You’ve got a trailer, a beat-up pickup, no job and way too much confidence. That’s the pitch for Redneck Simulator, and as of today its Steam page is live. Ambercoil Games and GameHunters opened wishlists on 29 September 2026, so you can follow the game’s development starting now.
Redneck Simulator is a laid-back, open-world life and business sim for PC. The whole idea is climbing the social ladder while working as little as humanly possible. The press kit sums it up nicely: honest work builds character, so it’s probably best to keep it to a minimum.

Moonshine Is Where the Empire Starts
Every business empire has to start somewhere, and here it’s a homemade still. You gather ingredients, put the right equipment together, brew the goods and get them into customers’ hands. The cash you make goes straight back into the operation so you can scale up.
As your reputation grows, new branches of business open up. The developers mention a grow operation and more advanced production, plus distributing increasingly profitable goods. One of the screenshots shows a room full of plants under purple grow lights next to taped-up packages, so you can guess where that’s heading.

Odd Jobs for Local Middlemen
Nobody hands the new guy the deal of a lifetime. You’ll start out running simple errands for local middlemen: move something, pick something up, find something, make a delivery. Every finished job builds your reputation, introduces new characters and unlocks assignments that get riskier, stranger and more profitable.
One screenshot even shows a pair of soldiers and a scientist arguing about why a specimen is relaxing in a vintage bathtub under the open sky. So yeah, the jobs don’t stay normal for long. I’m a sucker for sims that don’t take themselves seriously, and this one looks like it’s leaning all the way in.

Races, Dates and Side Activities Across Land and Water
It’s not all business. Between deals you can just enjoy the redneck lifestyle. The world is packed with side activities and mini-games, from card games and races to dates at sunset. You’ll get around by land and water using different vehicles, and the map covers countryside, forests, backroads and rivers with new locations, jobs and characters tucked off the beaten path.
Here’s the full feature list from the developers:
Explore the countryside, forests, backroads and rivers in search of adventure. Enjoy the laid-back lifestyle and freedom of a true redneck. Travel across the world by land and water using different vehicles. Take part in races, mini-games, dates and other side activities. Produce, process and distribute increasingly profitable goods. Earn money and expand your ranch and business empire.
It’s a list that promises a lot of ground to cover, and the mix of business sim and goofy side content is the right call. The screenshots show night-time deliveries, a brick-walled bar and plenty of rural backdrops, so the world looks bigger than a single trailer park.
From Trailer Living to Your Own Ranch
The end goal is simple. Go from unemployed trailer dweller to ranch owner with a thriving business on the side. You expand production and distribution, invest in new opportunities, improve your lifestyle and slowly build up your property. The developers call it the American Dream, sort of.
There’s no release date or price yet. The press kit lists the date as to be announced, with GameHunters publishing and PC via Steam as the only confirmed platform. For now, the Steam page is open for wishlists, and we’ll bring you more as soon as a launch window lands.
