PUBG Mobile Asian Games 2026 Results, Thailand Win Gold Ahead of China and Pakistan

Thailand have won gold at the 2026 Asian Games Esports Finals: PUBG Mobile Asian Games Version, finishing on 128 points after two days of battle royale matches in Tokoname, Japan. China took silver on 114 points, and Pakistan claimed bronze on 100, five points clear of both Indonesia and Vietnam.
The finals wrapped up on 29 September at the Aichi Sky Expo as part of the 20th Asian Games Esports Events in Aichi-Nagoya, with 12 national teams playing 12 matches across Erangel and Miramar. The gold is Thailand’s first Asian Games medal in PUBG Mobile, and it came at the expense of China, who won the event when it debuted as a medal sport at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
How Thailand Built a 14-Point Lead on Day 1
China, the defending gold medallists, opened the finals on 28 September with a 10-elimination, 20-point Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD, PUBG’s term for a match win) in Match 1 on Erangel. Thailand answered across the next five matches with two wins and two second-place finishes, including a 13-elimination win on Miramar in Match 6.
That run left Thailand on 75 points overnight, 14 ahead of China on 61. Indonesia sat third on 55 after a Chicken Dinner of their own, while Vietnam closed the day fourth on 51 thanks to back-to-back wins in Matches 4 and 5.
Six Different Winners on the Final Day
The second day produced a different winner in each of its six matches. Thailand’s came in Match 8, a Chicken Dinner with 11 eliminations. Jordan won Match 9 on Erangel with 12 eliminations but finished outside the medals, and hosts Japan took Match 11 on Miramar on their way to ninth overall.
China kept pace with Thailand on the final day, but only kept pace: both teams added 53 points. That meant the gold was effectively decided on Day 1, since Thailand’s 14-point overnight lead was exactly the gap at the finish.
The biggest move came further down the table. Pakistan scored 61 points on the final day, more than any other team in the top five, climbing from 39 to 100 and past Indonesia and Vietnam, who added 40 and 44 respectively.

Qualifiers, Automatic Entries, and PUBG Mobile’s Second Asian Games
Four teams went straight to the finals: hosts Japan and the three 2022 Hangzhou medallists, China, South Korea, and Chinese Taipei. The other eight came through the 2026 Asian Games Esports Qualifiers: PUBG Mobile Asian Games Version in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in June, where 23 teams entered the Qualifiers Finals and Pakistan finished top.
The qualifier route paid off. Two of the three medallists, Thailand and Pakistan, came through Ho Chi Minh City, while China were the only automatic entrant on the podium. Neither South Korea nor Chinese Taipei, who both medalled in Hangzhou, finished in the top five this time.
Those 23 qualifier teams plus the four automatic entries put 27 National Olympic Committee (NOC) teams into the PUBG Mobile competition across both stages, which PUBG Mobile says made it the most widely represented esports title at this year’s Games. It was also the second straight Asian Games with PUBG Mobile as an official medal event.
