Pragmatic Play’s Freya 1000 Slot Goes Live With a 10,000x Cap

Pragmatic Play dropped a new one today. Freya 1000 is live as of September 21, and it swaps the studio’s usual fast-scatter chaos for something closer to a classic cabinet, dressed up in Norse mythology.

What you’re actually spinning

Freya 1000 arrives combining Money symbols, reel nudges, Wheel prizes, free spins and multipliers reaching 1000x in a wintry Norse-themed slot adventure. The layout is deliberately old-school: a highly volatile slot with a classic grid set-up, five reels and 10 paylines where regular symbols create wins from left to right. Freya herself does double duty. She appears as the wild symbol, substituting for anything except Wheel and Money symbols, and lands on all reels except the leftmost.

Low-pay symbols are icy card ranks. Above them sit drinking horns, necklaces, wolves and longships doing the heavier lifting. Icy blue-grey 10-A ranks are the low-pay symbols, awarding 1.25x the bet for 5 of a kind, while a 5 matching high-pay combination awards 4x-25x the stake. That’s not where the real money sits, though.

Money and Wheel symbols carry the game

Freya 1000 has Money symbols and Wheel symbols that lead to free spins and super free spins, with Money symbols worth 0.25x-40x the bet whenever one hits. Land enough Wheel symbols and the game spins a wheel for a mix of prizes, multipliers or a ticket into one of two free spins modes. It’s a slower build than most modern Pragmatic titles, more patience game than fireworks show.

Three separate feature buys sit on the paytable for players who’d rather skip straight to the wheel or the spins round. Three feature buys also come with the game. Where those buys are legal varies by market, as always.

The numbers that matter

The betting range runs from €0.20 to €240 per spin, and the RTP ranges up to 96.50%, with alternative rates of 95.50% and 94.50% released for more heavily regulated markets. Hit frequency sits low. The Hit Frequency rate is 34.12%, or roughly 1 in 2.93 spins, and the Freya 1000 max win is 10,000x the bet. That cap is modest by Pragmatic’s own recent standards, but the studio’s mixing pacing across its shelf rather than chasing one house style.

Stakes on the UK build start lower. With stakes starting from 20p per spin, it’s available to play at most UK slot sites. Pragmatic’s Norse cabinet isn’t new ground for the studio either. It joins a shelf that already includes Might of Freya Megaways and Fury of Odin Megaways, so this is Freya’s second outing under the Pragmatic banner, this time without the Megaways engine and with a straight 10-payline structure instead.

Demo builds are already up at several tracker sites for anyone who wants to see the Wheel feature before staking real money. Real-money availability depends on your local licensing, same as every Pragmatic release. Freya 1000 is out now, wherever Pragmatic titles are already stocked.
