PlayStation Plus September 2026 Games Include Sniper Elite Resistance and MLB The Show 26

PlayStation Plus September 2026 games will bring four new Monthly Games to subscribers from Tuesday, September 1, led by Sniper Elite: Resistance and MLB The Show 26. Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes complete the lineup, covering everything from four-player sandbox co-op to a 16-bit-style single-player JRPG.

Sniper Elite: Resistance and Wobbly Life will be available across PS5 and PS4, while MLB The Show 26 is limited to PS5 and Chained Echoes is listed for PS4.

PlayStation Plus September 2026 Games and Platforms

Sony notes that PlayStation Plus Monthly Games can differ by region. New Zealand members should therefore check their local PlayStation Store when the September lineup becomes available.

Sniper Elite: Resistance Includes Campaign Co-op and Axis Invasion

Sniper Elite: Resistance shifts the World War II series back into occupied France for a story running parallel to Sniper Elite 5. Its campaign combines long-range sniping with stealth and third-person combat, and the complete story can also be played cooperatively.

Axis Invasion returns as well, allowing another player to enter a campaign as an enemy Axis sniper for a player-versus-player hunt. Outside the campaign, Resistance includes competitive online battles supporting up to 16 players, with XP, medals and ribbons available through multiplayer progression.

Players looking for cooperative combat outside the main story can also enter Survival mode with up to three other players and fight through waves of enemies.

MLB The Show 26 Adds a PS Plus Jump Start Bundle

MLB The Show 26 is the only PS5-exclusive title in September’s Monthly Games lineup. Road To The Show lets players pursue a career through the MLB Draft Combine and includes 11 additional new college teams, while Diamond Dynasty again centres on building a squad from players across different eras of baseball.

The 2026 edition introduces Red Diamond rarity player cards across series including World Baseball Classic, the 2026 All-Star Game and Pipeline Series.

PlayStation Plus members also receive access to a limited-time MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle through the PlayStation Store. It contains five The Show Packs, one Equipment Pack and a Jumpstart Choice Pack, providing items for both Road To The Show customisation and Diamond Dynasty.

Wobbly Life Supports Four-Player Sandbox Co-op

Wobbly Life can be played solo or with up to three other players through online multiplayer or local split-screen co-op. Its open world is built around interactive objects, mini-games, toys, secrets and story missions that reward players for completing puzzles and other challenges.

The sandbox stretches across areas including a tropical island, mountains and hidden caves. Arcade mode provides a separate set of activities through Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run and Sandbox, with customisable settings, additional mini-games and dedicated areas.

Chained Echoes Brings a 16-Bit-Style JRPG

Chained Echoes rounds out September with a single-player JRPG set across the continent of Valandis, where a group of heroes attempts to end a war between three kingdoms. The journey moves through locations ranging from plateaus and archipelagos to sunken cities and forgotten dungeons.

Combat mixes swords and magic with pilotable mechanical suits, placing mechs alongside dragons within its fantasy setting. Its presentation draws on the 16-bit era of RPGs while retaining the larger-scale environments and mechanical combat central to its world.

August PlayStation Plus Games Leave on August 31

Before the September changeover, PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, August 31 to add Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis to their libraries.

The four September Monthly Games become available on September 1 and will remain claimable until Monday, October 5.
