Philips Evnia 34M2C5601QA: A 34-Inch 200Hz Ultrawide With 90W USB-C and a KVM

Philips Evnia has a new ultrawide, and it’s aiming straight at the “one monitor does everything” crowd. The Evnia 34M2C5601QA is a 34-inch curved gaming panel that pairs a 200Hz refresh rate with 90W USB-C and a built-in KVM, announced out of Amsterdam on 10 September.
34-inch 1500R VA panel at 3440 x 1440
It’s a 34-inch (86.4cm) screen with a 1500R curve and a 21:9 UltraWide Quad HD resolution of 3440 x 1440. That extra horizontal room is the whole point of an ultrawide: more of the game on screen at once, and plenty of desktop for side-by-side windows when you’re not playing.
Driving it is a Fast VA panel with a 4000:1 typical contrast ratio, so dark scenes hold their depth instead of washing out. SmartContrast tweaks colour and backlight on the fly, HDR10 is supported, and it covers 98 percent of sRGB while pushing 1.07 billion colours via 8-bit plus FRC.
200Hz over DisplayPort, plus USB-C and a KVM
The headline number is a refresh rate of up to 200Hz over DisplayPort 1.4, with low input lag for the fast stuff. On connectivity, USB-C carries 90W of Power Delivery, so it can run and charge a laptop down a single cable. A built-in KVM switch and MultiView let you drive two machines from one keyboard and mouse and see them side by side, handy if you bounce between a work laptop and a gaming rig. Rounding it out is Philips’ AI-enhanced Ambiglow, the ambient lighting that spills on-screen colours onto the wall behind the monitor.
Price and local availability still to come
Philips hasn’t shared local pricing or a New Zealand and Australia release window yet, so we can’t tell you what it will cost down here. On paper, though, a 200Hz ultrawide with 90W USB-C and a KVM baked in is a lot of monitor for a single desk. We’ll update this once regional availability lands.
