Abay “HObbit” Khassenov is back in PARIVISION’s Counter-Strike 2 starting lineup, this time on a permanent deal. The veteran Kazakh rifler replaces 18-year-old Vyacheslav “slaxejezzz” Vinokurov, who moves to the bench and is now available for loan offers.

PARIVISION announced both moves on X on 17 September 2026. The organisation stressed that slaxejezzz is still under contract and that it has no plans to sell him.

Why PARIVISION Brought HObbit Back

CEO Andrey Kvasnevsky tied the decision to the team’s recent form. He said PARIVISION are “still trying to find our footing” and need more experience in the lineup for moments when the team has to adjust mid-match.

HObbit already knows the roster. He played for PARIVISION as a stand-in over the summer at XSE Pro League Guangzhou 2026, where the team beat MIBR, BIG, and FaZe before losing the grand final 0-3 to 9z. Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev replaced him shortly after that event, and HObbit now returns to play alongside the Russian rifler.

Results since then explain the urgency. PARIVISION most recently finished 9th to 12th at FISSURE Playground 3, opening with a 2-0 win over TYLOO before 0-2 losses to FURIA and magic. With Kvasnevsky pointing to a packed schedule of important matches, the club has chosen a player who can slot in without a long adjustment period.

A Reversal of dastan’s Summer Reasoning

The signing also reunites HObbit with long-term coach Dastan “dastan” Akbayev, who defended dropping him earlier in the year. Speaking in Paris during the Esports World Cup, dastan conceded that HObbit was, in his view, “stronger than, for example, slaxejezzz” at that moment.

His argument was about the long term. dastan said slaxejezzz would develop further and the team needed firepower, and he was concerned that a lineup combining HObbit with Dzhami “Jame” Ali and FL1T might be too hard to make work.

PARIVISION have now gone the other way, raising the lineup’s average age to 25.2 after a poor start to the season. That leaves dastan to solve the exact combination he flagged as difficult, which puts the pressure on how quickly the new five can settle roles. A strong showing at the next few events would go a long way to justifying the switch from development to experience.

slaxejezzz Benched and Open to Loan Offers

slaxejezzz joined PARIVISION in June, taking nota’s place in the starting lineup. His stint lasted 26 maps recorded by HLTV, over which he posted a 0.98 Rating 3.0, and the XSE run to the Guangzhou final was the first big tournament of his career.

Kvasnevsky thanked the youngster for his work and said regular playing time is now the priority for his development, which is why PARIVISION want a loan rather than a transfer. “To be clear we’re not considering selling Vyacheslav,” he said, adding that the club is counting on him in the future.

A loan would make slaxejezzz the third PARIVISION player developing elsewhere, alongside nota and BELCHONOKK. No destination has been announced yet.
