Nintendo eShop Sale: Another Crab’s Treasure, Blanc Hit All-Time Low Prices

A fresh wave of discounts has landed on the North American Nintendo Switch eShop, and two games are sitting at their cheapest prices ever. Another Crab’s Treasure has dropped to $11.99 from $29.99, a 60 percent cut marked as its lowest price ever, while Blanc has fallen to $4.49 from $14.99, a 70 percent reduction also flagged as an all-time low, according to pricing tracker DekuDeals. Both deals run through the first half of September, alongside cuts on 1000xRESIST, Persona 5 Royal, the GTA Trilogy and more.

Another Crab’s Treasure Falls to $11.99, Echoing Its New Switch 2 Edition

The soulslike hermit-crab adventure now costs $11.99 on the standard Switch eShop listing, a discount DekuDeals lists as the lowest price ever recorded for the game, with the sale set to end September 11. The timing is no accident.

Just days earlier, Nintendo Everything reported that Another Crab’s Treasure: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition went live on the eShop at a special $11.99 price, down from a normal $30, and that it’s a free upgrade for anyone who already owns the Switch 1 version. The refreshed edition brings tangible technical gains rather than just a fresh coat of paint. Nintendo’s own description notes a “greatly improved” frame rate in both handheld and docked play plus a 1080p resolution, with load times and hitches “reduced significantly in previously reported problem areas.”

That matters because the original Switch release drew complaints about choppy performance when it first launched. Aggro Crab’s game about Kril, a hermit crab forced to wear trash as armour after losing his shell to debt collectors, originally debuted in April 2024 across PlayStation, Xbox and PC as well as Switch. Now both the base game and its rebuilt Switch 2 counterpart sit at the same $11.99 asking price.

Blanc’s Wolf-and-Fawn Journey Reaches Its Cheapest Price Yet at $4.49

Blanc, the wordless co-op adventure starring a lost wolf cub and fawn, is currently $4.49, down from its usual $14.99. DekuDeals lists the 70 percent discount as a new all-time low, with the sale scheduled to end September 10. It’s a steep drop for a game that rarely dips this far.

Blanc first released on February 14, 2023, developed by French studio Casus Ludi and published by Gearbox Publishing. The game strips away dialogue entirely, asking two players to guide the pair of young animals through a snowstorm using only jump and context-sensitive action commands. At under five dollars, it’s now one of the cheaper co-op picks currently sitting on the eShop.

1000xRESIST’s Discount Rides Its Switch 2 Launch Week

The sci-fi narrative game 1000xRESIST is also part of the current promotion. Deal-tracking outlet GG.deals confirmed Nintendo’s latest sale wave includes discounts on 1000xRESIST alongside Brotato, several BioShock titles and hundreds of other games. The cut lines up with a bigger platform push for the title.

Developer sunset visitor 斜陽過客 and publisher Fellow Traveller confirmed that 1000xRESIST arrived on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 20th at a 40 percent launch-week discount in the eShop, with existing Switch owners able to upgrade to the new edition for free. The game has picked up multiple Game of the Year awards, including a Peabody Award, for its story set beneath the rule of the ALLMOTHER. The Switch 2 version adds sharper resolution and framerate on top of that acclaim.

Persona 5 Royal, GTA Trilogy and Red Dead Redemption Round Out the List

The sale extends well past the two headline titles. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, The Definitive Edition sits at $19.79, down from $59.99 and matching its previous low, while Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is $9.99 against a usual $29.99, also matching its prior best price. Both deals close September 10.

Persona 5 Royal has been cut to $17.99 from $59.99, a 70 percent reduction running only until September 1, while Red Dead Redemption is $24.99 instead of $49.99, matching its previous low and ending September 10. Risk of Rain 2 rounds things out at $6.24, down from $24.99, also matching an earlier low point. Shoppers chasing Rockstar’s back catalogue have the shortest runway of the batch, given Persona 5 Royal’s earlier cutoff.

With most of these discounts closing between September 1 and September 11, the window to grab a hermit crab, a wolf cub or a slice of Rockstar history at these prices is measured in days, not weeks.
