Mind Diver Is Out on PS5 and Switch 2 for $17.99
Sebastian is gone. Lina was there for the nights that led up to it, but her memory is falling apart faster than the police can take a statement from her. So you stop asking questions and climb into her head instead.
Mind Diver hit PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday for $17.99 / €17.99. It’s a detective game from Indoor Sunglasses, a worker-owned studio in Copenhagen, and PLAYISM is publishing it.
What you actually do in it
Lina’s memories are frozen in time and full of holes. You walk around inside them. Eight Regions of her subconscious, and you unlock deeper ones by rebuilding the neural connections between the pieces you’ve already worked out.
The main job is scanning Echoes. There are more than 130 of them, and each one is a fully voiced snippet of conversation you have to listen to properly. Someone was yelling at Sebastian outside a party, but you don’t know who and you don’t know what they said. The next morning was tense, but you don’t know why. You fill in Memory Holes with objects pulled from her surroundings, and there are over 700 of those to place.
From there it’s normal detective work with an unreliable witness. You build dossiers on people of interest, cross-reference what they said in the Memory Log, and work out which connections are real and which ones are just two things happening near each other.
Price and the launch discount
It’s $17.99 or €17.99 on both consoles. PS Plus members and Switch 2 owners in North America get 10% off until 11:59pm PDT on Wednesday, September 9. That discount is North America only, so the rest of us pay full price.
The language list is unusually long for an indie this size: English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
It already did well on PC
Mind Diver came out on Steam on September 28, 2025, and it sits at Very Positive with 351 of 370 reviews positive. It was nominated for Best Student Game at IGF 2023, picked up the Innovation Award at GDWC 2024, and won Best Narrative at the 2025 Danish Game Awards. This is the studio’s first commercial game.

Our take
Deduction games live or die on whether the game trusts you to be wrong. The good ones let you commit to a bad theory and feel stupid about it later. Mind Diver’s Memory Log looks built for exactly that, and the PC crowd clearly agreed. Eighteen bucks for a case you have to think your way through is an easy yes, and it’s a good fit for the Switch 2 in handheld.
