Aulon “Krabeni” Fazlija has extended his contract with FUT Esports, keeping the 21-year-old Kosovar in-game leader with the organisation after its run to the Esports World Cup 2026 Grand Final. FUT announced the renewal on 7 September 2026, calling its captain “The Mastermind” and saying the team is looking to lift trophies together.

The deal follows earlier extensions for Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko, Džiugas “dziugss” Steponavičius and coach András “coolio” Fercsák. Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov is now the only member of FUT’s former NAVI Junior core still playing under his original contract.

Krabeni Joins FUT’s Latest Contract Renewals

FUT renewed dem0n, dziugss and coolio on 26 August, but neither Krabeni nor cmtry appeared in that first announcement. Krabeni’s absence left the captain’s future unresolved until FUT secured him on new terms less than two weeks later.

Krabeni, dem0n, cmtry and dziugss all came through the NAVI Junior system before joining FUT in August 2025, with coolio moving into the coaching role. That group has remained the foundation of the team’s rise through 2026, with Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç later joining the lineup in place of Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea.

cmtry Is the Last Core Member Without an Extension

Krabeni’s new deal leaves cmtry as the remaining former NAVI Junior player whose contract has not been renewed. FUT have not announced a new agreement for the AWPer or provided a timeline for a decision on his future.

That makes cmtry’s situation the final unresolved contract question around the core that joined FUT in 2025. With Krabeni secured alongside dem0n, dziugss and coolio, the organisation has retained the captain responsible for leading the team in-game while only one of those original deals remains unchanged.

FUT Are Coming off an Esports World Cup Grand Final

The extensions arrive after FUT produced one of their strongest results of the season at the Esports World Cup 2026. The team reached the Grand Final before losing 3-1 to Spirit on 23 August, a run that helped establish FUT at No. 6 in the world ranking.

Krabeni’s individual numbers have been more modest than those of FUT’s leading riflers, with a Rating 3.0 of around 1.01 across 51 maps over the previous three months. His responsibilities extend beyond individual output, however, with the 21-year-old serving as FUT’s primary in-game leader.

FUT also added xfl0ud over the summer break in place of lauNX, bringing another secondary calling option into the lineup. That gives Krabeni another voice inside the server while he remains responsible for the team’s primary leadership.

PGL Masters Bucharest Is FUT’s Next Major Target

With Krabeni now tied down alongside most of the former NAVI Junior core, FUT can turn their attention back to competition and PGL Masters Bucharest. Bucharest already carries history for the organisation after FUT lifted their first tournament trophy there earlier in 2026.

cmtry’s contract remains the outstanding roster question as FUT prepare to return to the event with their captain secured on a new deal.
