Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games have revealed two GTA 6 Limited Edition DualSense controllers inspired by Vice City, with Black and White designs launching alongside Grand Theft Auto VI on 19 November 2026. Revealed during the 3 September State of Play, both versions combine GTA VI branding with palm-tree detailing and a shimmering finish designed around Vice City’s day and night aesthetics.

Both controllers are priced at $84.99 USD, ¥12,480 including tax, €84.99, or £74.99 depending on region, with pre-orders beginning on 10 September at 10:00am local time. In New Zealand, the recommended retail price is NZD$149.95, with pre-orders opening at 10:00am NZT.

Two GTA 6 Controllers Take Inspiration From Vice City

The official PlayStation announcement names the two models as the DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition.

Both feature a shimmering, colour-shifting finish combining the hues of a Vice City sunset with neon lighting. Palm-tree details are moulded directly into the controller to add a tactile element, while the touchpad carries VI imagery and Grand Theft Auto VI branding also appears across the hardware.

The White Limited Edition represents Vice City during the day, drawing on its white sands, pastel skies, and coastal styling. The Black Limited Edition takes the opposite approach, using the city’s nightlife and neon glow as its visual theme.

Price, Pre-Orders And Availability

Both GTA 6 DualSense controllers launch from 19 November, the same day as Grand Theft Auto VI. Sony has set the recommended price at $84.99 USD, ¥12,480 including tax, €84.99, and £74.99, although the exact launch date and availability can vary between countries and regions.

Pre-orders begin on 10 September at 10:00am local time. The White Limited Edition will be sold in limited quantities through PlayStation Direct where supported and participating retailers, while the Black Limited Edition is exclusive to PlayStation Direct in supported territories and will be offered through select retailers elsewhere.

For New Zealand buyers, both designs have a recommended retail price of NZD$149.95, with pre-orders starting on 10 September at 10:00am NZT. PlayStation Direct is not listed as operating in New Zealand, so local availability will instead come through participating or select retailers.

GTA 6 Will Use DualSense Features On PS5

The controller designs are cosmetic, but GTA 6 itself will also use the DualSense hardware’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Sony says both features will respond to the action and provide changing resistance as players move through Jason and Lucia’s story.

Those features are part of the standard DualSense specification rather than something exclusive to the GTA 6 editions, so owners of an existing PS5 controller will still receive the supported haptic and trigger effects.

No GTA 6 PS5 Console Bundle Has Been Announced

The two controllers are the GTA 6-themed PlayStation hardware confirmed so far. Neither Sony nor Rockstar announced a matching PS5 or PS5 Pro console, or a bundle containing the game and one of the new controllers, during September’s State of Play.

Sony has separately promoted Grand Theft Auto VI’s PS5 support, including DualSense speakers, haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and Tempest 3D AudioTech, but the 3 September hardware reveal stopped at the Black and White controllers.

Grand Theft Auto VI and both limited-edition DualSense designs are due on 19 November 2026, with controller pre-orders opening on 10 September.
