Speaking on the EP as a whole, Charlotte OC, the Blackburn artist reflects “A lot of change all at once can really mess with your head. It forces you to think quickly, put a brave face on and start again. This EP goes through my life over the past 2 years and leads up to the present day. From feeling frustration, loss, jealousy and hurt to euphoric love and a long awaited feeling of being content and understood not only by others but by myself as well.”

As her EP launch has been postponed due to COVID-19, Charlotte OC has also announced that she will be performing a virtual show on 14th May 2020 – the evening before the EP drops. This will be the first chance of hearing unreleased EP material.

Charlotte OC

Since being in isolation, Charlotte has performed a series of covers including Portishead’s ‘Glory Box’ which had Queen frontman – Adam Lambert – comment ‘WOW’ and start following her on Instagram. Her music now reaches over 440K monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

Charlotte OC is consistently championed by BBC Introducing Lancashire. This lead the Blackburn artist to perform at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2019, as well as supporting James Arthur and Tom Walker on their respective UK tours.

With initial support from BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens & Jack Saunders and BBC Radio 2’s Rylan, Charlotte OC can now reveal the full track-list for her forthcoming ‘Oh The Agony, Oh The Ecstasy’ EP – Out Friday 15th May 2020.
