September 2026 has a packed Counter-Strike 2 tournament calendar, with three S-Tier events active during the month, one A-Tier LAN, and another wave of B-Tier and C-Tier competitions running across Europe, Asia, the Americas and Oceania. As of 6 September, BLAST Open Porto is reaching its grand final before FISSURE Playground 3, StarLadder StarSeries Fall and Logitech G Play Connect carry the top end of the calendar through the rest of the month.

This calendar separates S-Tier and A-Tier tournaments first, in chronological order, before restarting from the beginning of the month for B-Tier and C-Tier events. Qualifiers are listed separately so regional and play-in events do not get mixed with the tournaments they feed into. Team fields reflect their confirmed status as of 6 September 2026, with TBA used where organisers have not yet filled every place.

S-Tier and A-Tier CS2 Tournaments in September 2026

BLAST Open Porto 2026, 26 August to 6 September

Tier: S-Tier, Valve Tier 1
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark and Porto, Portugal
Prize pool: $1.1 million
Teams: 16

BLAST Open Porto 2026 began on 26 August and closes the first weekend of September with its grand final in Porto on 6 September. The group stage was played in Copenhagen before six teams advanced to the Portuguese playoffs, with the tournament using best-of-three series until a best-of-five grand final.

The full tournament field was Spirit, Falcons, FURIA, Vitality, MOUZ, FUT, Legacy, Natus Vincere, G2, Aurora, 9z, paiN, Lynn Vision, DENDELE, Inner Circle and M80. PaiN entered as a replacement team after the original field changed before the event.

By 6 September, only Spirit and MOUZ remain in contention. Spirit swept Falcons 2-0 in the first semi-final, while MOUZ eliminated Vitality to book the other place in the championship match. That leaves September’s first S-Tier trophy to be decided in a best-of-five final between the two.

FISSURE Playground 3, 8 to 13 September

Tier: S-Tier, Valve Tier 1
Location: Suzhou, China
Venue: SND Cultural & Sports Centre
Prize pool: $1 million
Teams: 16

FISSURE Playground 3 starts two days after BLAST Porto finishes, bringing 16 teams to Suzhou from 8 to 13 September. The group stage uses a double-elimination format with best-of-three matches, followed by an eight-team single-elimination playoff bracket and a best-of-five grand final.

The confirmed teams are FURIA, Legacy, G2, 9z, FaZe, Astralis, The MongolZ, BETBOOM, PARIVISION, GamerLegion, magic, BIG, MIBR, TYLOO, Alliance and 5star.

The field changed shortly before the event when magic took FUT’s place as a replacement team. The final open place went to 5star through the Asia Closed Qualifier. The MongolZ have also returned cobrazera to their starting five for the tournament.

Opening matches are already set, with 9z facing 5star, Legacy meeting magic, The MongolZ playing MIBR, FaZe taking on Alliance, PARIVISION facing TYLOO, BETBOOM meeting BIG, G2 playing Astralis and FURIA facing GamerLegion.

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, 17 to 20 September

Tier: S-Tier, Valve Tier 1
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Prize pool: $500,000
Teams: 8

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 runs from 17 to 20 September with a compact eight-team field and a $500,000 prize pool. Every team enters a double-elimination playoff bracket, with all series played as best-of-three.

The complete field is FURIA, Vitality, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, Aurora, magic, MIBR and NRG. FURIA, Vitality, MOUZ and NAVI entered through the global VRS route. Aurora and magic earned the two European qualifier places, MIBR qualified from South America, and NRG took the North American slot.

StarSeries therefore brings several teams back into action only days after FISSURE Playground 3. FURIA, magic and MIBR are currently scheduled for both tournaments, while Vitality, MOUZ and NAVI return after appearing at BLAST Porto earlier in the month.

Logitech G Play Connect 2026, 17 to 23 September

Tier: A-Tier, Valve Tier 2
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Prize pool: $100,000
Teams: 12

Logitech G Play Connect 2026 begins on the same day as StarSeries but runs three days longer, from 17 to 23 September. Its group stage uses round-robin best-of-one matches before the tournament switches to a single-elimination playoff bracket with best-of-three series and a best-of-five grand final.

The previously incomplete field is now filled. B8, GamerLegion, 3DMAX, Liquid, Inner Circle, Ninjas in Pyjamas, M80, Luminosity, EYEBALLERS, BBL, INFINITE and Metizport are the 12 participating teams. INFINITE and Metizport occupy the two Closed Qualifier places.

The $100,000 Warsaw event is September’s only current A-Tier tournament on Liquipedia, placing it immediately below the three S-Tier competitions in the month’s hierarchy.

B-Tier CS2 Tournaments in September 2026

The B-Tier calendar restarts from the beginning of September and includes events that began in late August but remained active during the month. Liquipedia defines B-Tier around smaller LAN competitions and larger online tournaments featuring established tier-two opposition. Several late-September fields are still waiting on qualifiers or VRS selections.

Stake Pulse Beat II Has One of the Strongest B-Tier Fields

Stake Pulse Beat II stands out from the lower-tier calendar because its full 16-team field is already published and includes Astralis, HEROIC, 100 Thieves, fnatic and Virtus.pro. The Stockholm LAN uses four GSL groups with best-of-three matches before eight teams advance to single-elimination playoffs, giving the tournament six days to work through its $60,000 competition.

1win and iBUYPOWER Fill the Final September LAN Weekend

The final full weekend of September puts two B-Tier LANs on opposite sides of the Atlantic. The $100,000 1win Private Club event begins in Belgrade on 25 September with six VRS teams already confirmed and two places coming from its Closed Qualifier. In Las Vegas, iBUYPOWER Masters FML has all eight teams locked for 25 to 27 September, including Liquid, M80, NRG and Wildcard from North America alongside DENDELE and BESTIA from South America.

C-Tier CS2 Tournaments in September 2026

September’s C-Tier schedule is considerably larger because it includes regional LANs, online cups, developmental leagues and ESEA divisions. Large ESEA divisional fields contain dozens or hundreds of teams, so their participant counts are grouped rather than reproducing several hundred names. Standalone events with unsettled invitation or qualification processes remain marked TBA.

ESEA Season 58 Also Runs Through September

ESEA Season 58 adds a much larger set of C-Tier league divisions that began in July and finish between 16 and 20 September. Liquipedia currently lists 65 teams in European Advanced, 66 in North American Advanced, 174 in European Intermediate, 108 in North American Intermediate, 14 in Oceanic Intermediate, 130 in European Main, 158 in North American Main, 61 in Asian Open, 76 in South American Open and 56 in Oceanic Open.

The biggest fields are further down the ESEA pyramid, including 398 teams in North American Open10, 562 in European Open10 and 377 in the European Entry division. Those leagues feed into the later Season 58 finals rather than operating as compact invitationals, which is why the calendar groups their hundreds of participants instead of listing every organisation individually.

Some Lower-Tier Listings Are Still Moving

Lower-tier scheduling is more volatile than the S-Tier calendar. European Pro League’s 12 to 30 September event is currently labelled Series 10 on Liquipedia while HLTV lists the September event as Series 9. The ESEA European and North American finals also have different dates and field sizes across the two databases, with HLTV currently showing shorter 25 to 27 September windows. The table keeps Liquipedia’s current C-Tier classification and calendar dates while flagging those entries as subject to reconciliation.

CS2 Qualifiers Taking Place in September 2026

September also contains a dense qualifier calendar, led by the regional paths into PGL Masters Bucharest and the Thunderpick World Championship Closed Qualifier. These are kept outside the main tier lists because Liquipedia classifies them as qualifier events even when their competitive level is marked A, B or C.

Cancelled and Postponed September CS2 Events

Several tournaments that appeared on earlier September calendars are no longer active. Most importantly, FISSURE Playground #5 should not be confused with FISSURE Playground 3. Playground #5 was previously attached to a September window in Shenzhen but is now listed as postponed, while Playground 3 is the active S-Tier tournament taking place in Suzhou from 8 to 13 September.

YaLLa Compass Summer 2026, previously scheduled for 7 to 13 September, is listed as cancelled. The Galaxy Battle LAN-Station #1 Online Stage that was due to run into 3 September was also cancelled, along with the associated LAN event. United21 Series 2 and United21 Series 3 are cancelled entries on the C-Tier calendar, while FiReCONTER 2026 Season 4 is no longer an active 3 to 6 September event.

Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #10 is another cancelled C-Tier listing that had been scheduled to begin on 28 September and run into October. Keeping those events separate from the active calendar avoids counting postponed or abandoned competitions as part of September’s playable schedule.

September Ends With Several Events Running Into October

The September CS2 calendar does not stop cleanly on the final day of the month. CCT South America Series #6 runs from 22 September to 4 October, while CCT Europe Series #10 starts on 28 September and continues until 10 October. Those events will carry the B-Tier schedule into the next month after September’s S-Tier run concludes with StarSeries Fall on 20 September and the final major wave of regional LANs arrives over the 24 to 28 September weekend.
