Perfecto Leaves Virtus.pro And Enters Free Agency After Roster Reset

Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy has departed Virtus.pro and become a free agent, ending a spell with the organisation that began in June 2025. The announcement landed on 3 August 2026 and formally cuts the one-time Major winner loose from a roster he had already been benched from earlier in the year.

Free agency is a different status to a bench slot. Perfecto is no longer tied to a Virtus.pro contract, which leaves him able to open talks with interested teams directly rather than waiting on the organisation to sanction a move.

Perfecto signed in June 2025 to take the roster spot left open by the benching of Timur “FL4MUS” Marev. The team was already in decline when the deal was done, and the tenured Russian did little to arrest the slide once he was in the lineup.

He returns to free agency with a Major on his record and a long history in high-stakes matches, which keeps the support rifler profile live for teams looking to add structure to a roster. The captaincy case is thinner. His only extended run as an in-game leader came on a side that was already collapsing and ended it ranked 100th, which leaves interested organisations little to work from on that part of his game.
