Nemiga Bench IGL 1eeR for Spirit Academy Product robo on Trial

Nemiga have benched captain Aliaksandr “1eeR” Nahorny for the second time this year, bringing in former Spirit Academy player Nikita “robo” Dushin on a trial basis to take over in-game leadership. The swap arrives despite a season in which 1eeR led the Belarusian side to a peak world ranking of 29th.

Coach Anton “boX” Burko framed it as a structural reset rather than a performance call.

Why Nemiga Made the Change

“1eeR once again led the team during a challenging time, performed reliably, and gave it his all, probably even exceeding 100%,” boX said in a statement. “However, as in any other sport, there comes a time when it’s necessary to try new approaches and fundamentally change the structure of the game.”

This is familiar ground for 1eeR. The 24-year-old was benched and transfer-listed in January following the signings of Aleksandr “KaiR0N-” Anashkin and Daniel “syph0” Ageyev, only for Nemiga to reinstate him as captain by February, with boX explaining at the time that the organisation had “discovered that process of adaptation for a new captain to the team’s current structure would require significantly more time than the organization could offer.” On his return, the team went on a run, winning ECL Season 51 Europe Cup 2, BC Game Masters Season 1 and CCT Europe Series 1, and climbing to 29th in the global VRS standings.

Who robo Is

The incoming captain is 20 and arrives with nearly two years in Spirit’s academy system behind him, most recently turning out for ex-RUBY. There he posted solid results in Europe’s online scene, notably taking second place in CCT Europe Series 4 while beating Gentle Mates and Virtus.pro along the way. The new-look Nemiga will debut within the next week when they take to the server for BLAST Bounty Season 2.
