Home-grown interactive portable display brand espresso Displays has announced a trans-Tasman retail partnership with JB Hi-Fi that will see its award-winning products, espresso Display 15 and espresso 17 Pro, deployed to more than 100 JB Hi-Fi stores in Australia and New Zealand, and through the JB Hi-Fi website.

Kicking off in June 2024, the retail partnership with JB Hi-Fi is the first of its kind for espresso Displays, which continues to expand its range of ultra-lightweight monitors and software to meet the needs of increasingly mobile workers who seek solutions to power their work on the go.

“JB Hi-Fi is an Australian retail icon trusted by so many households and people know they will get the best range of innovative tech to suit their needs,” said espresso Displays co-founder and CEO Will Scuderi.

“As one of few local tech brands making hardware, we now have the ability to reach more Australians and offer the opportunity to get their hands on our products – which is one of the most powerful ways to communicate how a premium portable display like ours can fit into someone’s life, Scuderi added.”

espresso Displays products have been recognised through multiple industry and reviewer awards for their design, as well as being among the best products in the portable monitor category. Accolades include recognition from TIME Magazine, Good Design Awards, Red Dot Award, Consumer Electronics Show, and many more.

“We’re delighted to partner with espresso Display as another example of JB Hi-Fi’s commitment to help our customers with the latest in consumer electronics and technology.” said Cameron Trainor, Managing Director, JB Hi-Fi Australia.

JB Hi-Fi customers will be able to interact with the products using the touchscreen features and learn why the displays have become the product of choice for business travellers, workers on the go, creators and producers, and digital nomads.

Espresso 17 Pro

espresso Displays was founded by a group of friends in Sydney who identified an unmet need for premium and portable touchscreen displays that could be powered directly from a laptop through a single USB-C cable. Its products are designed to be simple and seamless and integrate with almost any laptop, software, or workflow.

The espresso Display 15 and espresso 17 Pro are carefully crafted from a single sheet of aluminium, presenting a completely unique offering in the portable monitor market when it comes to design, durability and seamless touch functions for MacOS and Windows laptops.

espresso Displays was recognised by Deloitte as being one of Australia’s fastest-growing tech brands (Tech Fast 50 2023), having been founded shortly before the COVID pandemic, scaling its local R&D, product design and engineering operations from its Sydney-based HQ to 30 employees today.
