ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih today hosted a press event at Computex 2018, unveiling all-new products, including the new ZenBook Pro 15 and ZenBook Pro 14 with the revolutionary ASUS ScreenPad input device, the triple-award-winning ZenBook S and a full lineup of new VivoBook notebooks.

As part of the new ZenBook and VivoBook introduction, ASUS announced a partnership with Hollywood sensation and leading actress, Gal Gadot, as brand ambassador for ASUS PC product lines. The press event also included a special sneak peek at Project Precog, a brand-new concept device and the world’s first convertible dual-screen notebook equipped with artificial intelligence features. The dual-screen form factor is designed to provide versatility and powerful productivity, and a full set of AI features, including AI Touch and AI Charging, deliver a completely new and evolved user experience.

“Over the last three decades, ASUS has focused on delivering meaningful innovations to market as well as refining every meticulous detail to perfect the computing experience,” said Mr. Shih. “We aspire to bring out the best in everyone by helping them unleash their creative power with beauty, performance, innovation and state-of-the-art technology, including AI.”

Joining Chairman Shih on stage to talk about the two companies’ heritage, and now future propelling laptop innovation, was Chris Walker, Intel Vice President of Client Computing Group: “When we redefined laptop computing in 2011 with the launch of Ultrabooks, ASUS responded first by delivering an inspired ZenBook that was thin, stylish and powerful. We and our ecosystem partners have imagined and invented with clarity before and, with today’s launch of the new ASUS ZenBook Pro series with interactive ScreenPad, I’m proud to say we’re doing it again.”

ASUS VivoBook S15

Microsoft Vice President, Partner Devices and Solutions, Paul Donovan was also on stage to share further insight on AI and the future of notebook innovation: “ASUS continues to push the boundaries of innovation to bring Windows customers exciting new experiences on thin and modern PC devices. These new VivoBook and ZenBook models are slim and stylish, and the new ZenBook Pro 15 with ScreenPad gives people a new way to interact with entertainment and productivity apps, such as Skype, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Edge.”

New VivoBook models include the VivoBook S15 (S530) and VivoBook S14 (S430), a pair of stylish and lightweight notebooks available in a choice of five vibrant colours and several textured finishes. Also announced was the VivoBook S13, which features a 13-inch display in a compact 11-inch body and is the first ASUS notebook to feature a four-sided NanoEdge bezel display, which enables a remarkable 89% screen-to-body ratio for a maximised viewing area.
